"Why trying to hide this news from the general public?? They deserve to know it. It is their money you all wasted it."

Indian representative protested with her strong voice. India had been always in the third position in investing in the vision system.

"Yes yes. It is time the general public comes to know about all these shenanigans."

"It was promised to address about the threat from alien life news a year and two ago but still had not been done. Why not let it all out in one go??"

"Yes..yes. We want liquidity of information to the general public. Cannot keep them in any more darkness. "

"Now that the protection system is already missing. What is the use to hide it??"

Questions and questions were thrown from every direction to the General of the United Nations and Selena Dion did not know how to calm this mess down and then how to confront the general public about this.

The decorum managers of the hall tried to calm down the national representatives who were nonstop degrading the negligence of the United Nations.

Everything turned over from a calm and peaceful meeting to a severe disturbing one full of chaos and turmoil.

What the future of the protection of the earth would be? Now it became a big question to which finding answer about was not going to be easy.

It was not just about the safety from the alien race invading the human race but the danger of the fact that some unknown individual was now the sole owner of the vision system. Nobody knew about his motive or intention with it.

As the crowd of the representatives from several thousands of nations got unruly inside the conference hall, Selena Dion could not remain inside anymore so she stormed out with her bodyguards following behind her.

The media agencies flooded the outside of the glass building as Selena looked through the window.

Her heart thumped inside knowing that her being the one to declare the news to the people of the entire world was not going to be easy. She was not sure how would she be able to do that.

Controlling and trying to calm the representatives of the nations turned out to be so hard that she had to give up and come out then she could not stop thinking about how to address the people.

As the news of the vision system of being lost spread, the leaders of the nations and several private giant corporations which also donated to the project now started firing bullets of questions to the United Nations.

A search party from all over the world was summoned. The best and best of the search party members were recruited.

All if they were aware of the fact that the owner of the vision system would by now have known and discover the tricks of how to use it and run it, so approaching him and taking it back from him or she was not going to be an easy battle.

Selena Dion hid the part of the news where once the lenses were installed in someone's eyes, it could not be removed unless the eyes of the owners were notched out.

The mad scientist, Doctor Hall told her that and even trying to find the system would not be an easy task either. They told her that but despite that, she decided to not mention this piece of news to the search party authority and demotivate them even before the search began.

She for then just wanted to make sure to get ahold of the person who had the system and then she would decide to what to be done and how to snatch the system from him or her.

Every nation extended the best of their search party officers. Since time was limited, so they decided to not give much time and waste it on just recruiting the members alone.

Once the members were ready, they were ordered to search each and every nook and corner of the planet.

The government of the nation of the search party belonging to them would monitor their actions. Hence every nation now got into action. They had no other choice but to oblige with the United Nations because not finding the vision system would be a loss to everyone in the world.

All they needed to do was find who had the system, send information to the United Nations about how the person was, his or her characteristic if it was a big association trying to get the system for its own selfish desire of power....based on such information, the United Nations would formulate plans of how to get the system back and keep it under its clutch.

So every state and nation got to work. All of them pulled their socks up. It was time to get serious and find the one thing that could protect the entire human race if the earth.

Doctor Hall paced around the lab, his eyes watching the glass box where the lenses were kept.

He just could not get it how the person who broken could take away the lenses just like that for the glass box could not be opened by anyone other than him, Rogers and Emily, his student c.u.m colleague.

"What are you thinking about??"

Marcus turned back to see Emily standing by the edge of the door frame, leaning on it.

"I m just trying to analyse of how who took it away, the lenses were able to do it."

He said and took the mug of coffee from Emily that she offered to him as she stood in front of him.

"It is strange yes. I suppose it to be a technology anomaly, you know. Other things just do not make sense other than that."

Emily let out, sipping the coffee. She looked around and walked away from where Marcus was standing and stopped by the glass window to the lookout.

"Remember the time you and Evans would stand right there, in the same spot where you are standing now, and then perform the ray practical."

Emily's eyes flipped up from the view to look at Marcus who was in the same position as before.

She could not think of why Marcus at that point was bringing up things about her ex-husband whom she did not like to remember.

It was just too much for her. Evans...he was different...very different from her as she could think of him now.

He was not power-hungry or ambitious like her. She was way over ambitious than him and which was one if the many reason for why they did not work out or could not work out.

"Why bring up Evans now??"

She asked, running her fingers over the coffee mug as her eyes first stare down at the floor before flipping up to see the doctor, who was giving her a look that she did not understand.

"Wait...are you inferring that it could be him?? Do you seriously think it could be him??"

Emily questioned after a long pause when the doctor did not answer the question she asked him before. She just could not get it why would he think of Evans as the one trying to get away with the lenses when he himself left everything behind.

"I m not really saying anything at this point. He left so suddenly...."

"He left right after he found that the game simulation was another part of the project where we still control the minds of lots of kids to analyze our research activity.."

Emily interrupted him. It was true. It was why he left. He thought that the vision system project was different.

Although he was opposed to working under Hall from day one for knowingly his endless record of miss doing but then for the betterment of the world, he agreed to join.

What she hid from him was that Marcus and she were still conducting the use of the simulations to get into the minds of the kids and children and use it to analyze their projects.

The vision system did not only make use of the rays or just waves, it also made use of the the neurons and how they behaved inside the brain of the people to get themselves established and well connected with the human body.

Once he got to know that, he wanted him and get to leave the project. She rejected it. She asked him that it was necessary but he would not just listen and that not only ended with him leaving his job as a scientist but also leaving her, ending their marriage when they only got married a few months before the project started.

"I do not know it, Emily but he knew things. Selena even knows too what we did to get that kind of system creation possible."

Marcus said. It was true, the world did not know how the system costed humanity too.
