THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

We place Rose on K'nor's back and tied her up tightly. I hope she will survive until we reach the city.

"Let's go."

We start running but then I feel Longinus' presences up ahead.

"Damn!"

"What is it?!" Peter's face is pale and sweating

"It seems they are still up ahead."

"What?!!"

"Stop panicking."

"How can I stop?!! Everyone is dead!! And we will certainly be the next.."

Right after Peter screams, a Longinus Sloin appears, I jump up front and slice his head vertically. I will have a harder time now that my Raizen is broken since I can't make any thrust attacks but I will do my best.

Peter and K'nor pass above me at high speed.

K'nor speeds up even more and they disappear in less than a minute from my sight, leaving me with Longinus lurking around with their shining eyes in the night.

While I am battling the Longinus Sloins, the man from earlier comes back. As I thought, he didn't die. But something has changed. I can feel his presence now. And his power is ferocious, I immediately feel invaded as soon as he appears, like my whole body got thrown into a super strong glue.

"So you were alive after all."

"Like a vulgar weakling human could kill me!! Give me my heart!"

"Your heart?" Ah, he must mean his core.

"Your fifthly weak hands should have never even touched it! Give it back before it gets stained even more!!"

I release my draconic aura and the guy answers his own. It's so powerful even the Sloins remaining go pushed back. I take advantage of it and slay two others who got destabilized. Now, there is only four left.

"You want it back? Come and get it!! Cissa!!"

"No!! It's a bad idea to use it again. He must be prepared to counter it."

"Shit!!"

I dodge a Longinus Sloin while listening to Cissa's explanations. And she is right. This guy is too strong to just take another Roar without moving, plus it is weaker because of the chain on my foot.

"Then what do we do?!!"

"Find a way to escape. This is not an opponent you can defeat in your current self."

"Tch!"

I know that he is stronger, I know that I can't defeat him but running away? Again? Then what? I should let him follow me to town and bring a disaster to it? Like Tatradum?!! No!!! Never again!!

I must never run away again because then, everything will repeat. I raise my raizen and slice my leg off above the level of the chain.

The man jumps on me but sadly for you, man, it has come back. The surge of Angas came like a bomb exploding inside my body.

I use the crescent apocalypse and ten bullets appear in front of me. The number has increased that much?!! Why?!!

Before the Longinus man has the chance to move away, I launch all of them at him. The explosion is so great all the trees around and destroyed as well. it pushes me back so far away I start flying to maintain my balance.

"One more time!!"

I create another set of bullets and send them in the midst of the smoke. At the same time, whips cut through the smoke and hit each of my ten bullets. They explode in mid-air with a loud noise and a shockwave. The place now looks like a small crater.

"You insolent little weakling!!"

The man appears from the smoke but he isn't a man anymore. He has changed into a monster the size of a gnoll. But unlike one, his legs are smaller, and he has two small arms beside the other two gigantic ones. His head also looks like a Longinus Sloin and there is a core sticking out of it.

He runs to me in a matter of seconds and slashes the air with his three oversized claws. I dodge and fly above him then launch three bullets and fall.

The two first bullets get cut in the air from his slashing attack but the third manages to hit him. The smoke from the explosion allows me to see the path of its next attack and as I evade it, I strike his head after infusing all types of Angas into my raizen.

"Argh!!"

The monster screams while his core gets separated from his head. I immediately catch it and fly back to avoid any possible counterattack.

"You!!!"

"That's two to go."

"YOU LOWLY PESTILENCE!!!"

"Hey, mind your vulgar language."

"Ahh!!!"

I evade the monster's attack as he starts rampaging through the forest, cutting all the trees and even the remaining Longinus that were lurking around.

"Damn this fool."

He is killing his allies as well. This guy is crazy and super strong.

Seeing as just clawing away at everything wasn't enough. He unleashes his black whips as well, they cut at everything, the ground, the falling trees, the air but still I manage to dodge everything. Then I speed up and while evading, I manage to come close enough to him to…

The monster smiles then above his head, a flame appears. A black flame, quiet and cold. Before I can back away, it is launched at incredible speed. I place my arm and use Sphere but not only does it break it, but it also catches my arm as well.

"Argh!!!"

It hurts?! It hurts!!! Why?!! Why does it hurt so much!!
