THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

"What is he doing?!"

"I don't know!! Just bring out your teleportation orb and evacuate!!"

Everyone is in panic and we all bring our teleportation orb but at the same time, Borgas's hand starts shining in the sky. Well, I say shining but really, it is a dark light that appears from his hand. 

"No way…"

Our orbs have all turned grey because of what he did. What is that light? No, now is not the time to think about this. I launch three bullets at Borgas but they are caught mid-air by sacrificial Longinus.

"What are we going to do?!! Sir!!"

The captain knight advances and stays near me. Everyone is looking at him. At the same time, an explosion resounds at Borgas's level. We all look and the guy has done it.. A Longinus's gate has opened around Borgas's hand. The portal is big enough to cover half the city.  A halo then follows and starts covering the city while falling towards the outskirts of it. 

"We are screwed, right?" The captain knight places his hand on my shoulder. How would I know?

"Are you asking me or telling me?"

"I don't even know myself."

"Then let's run away."

I don't think I can handle whatever is going to come from this portal right now.

I would really like to capture Borgas and obtain info about Tatiana and Veronica from him but it won't be possible, it seems.

"You know it won't work, right?"

"Then what should we do? Even if we divide-"

"Krieekk!!!"

Finally, the Longinus have caught up to us and we are forced to start a huge battle while watching the sky with anxiety.

"So, what do you decide?!!" This captain is way too hesitant. We can't afford to stay here any longer without a plan.

"Krieek-"

I behead a Longinus Sloin then block another one. Cordel appears behind it and slices it up vertically.

"Some of us will have to advance!! It is the only way!!"

"Okay then-"

Before we can devise a plan, the portal finally makes the air vibrates. Shit!

"Ahahaha!!! Behold!! You will all be the firsts to see Schamerin's doom!!"

Borgas then flies down from the portal and something stretches it. It first looks like a very sharp claw then it is a paw the size of a house that comes out.

"N-no way!!"

"We have to run!! Now!!"

"Captain!! Let's go!!"

We all start running after seeing that paw. There is no way we can mistake that for anything else.

"Krieek!!"

"Guoh!!"

"SHIT!!!"

As if they were lying in wait, some Longinus and Roderick appear by breaking through a building.

I immediately bombard them with crescent bullets and face them allowing the rest to go further. Evading a Longinus's attack, I see it.

A massive black head and body, teeth the size of a human being, fiery red snake eyes that could pierce through your soul. A pair of wings that are still stuck in the portal. A FREAKING DRAGON in flesh. Those guys have dragons!!

"Guoh!!"

Roderick strikes the ground and breaks everything around him one more time. This time, however, it even creates a shockwave strong enough to push me back. I fly instead but then the wings of that thing finally pass the portal and it lands as loudly as the biggest tremor on earth.

After that tremor, everything goes silent. There are no more noises for a few seconds. Truly, it's like death has arrived. That dragon then opens his mouth and the scream that follows…

"KRIEEEKKK!!!!"

This time, the whole kingdom must have heard this. It was powerful the surrounding buildings were all destroyed. Borgas, you don't any ideas of what you just did.

Surprisingly enough, even the Longinus present got paralyzed by the dragon's scream. That's good. I rapidly fly to the others who have also stopped moving and are watching the dragon like chickens waiting for a knife to slice their throat. Even K'nor is trembling with his tail between his legs.

"What are you guys doing? We must go!!"

I slap the captain and he finally goes back to his senses. What was happening to them?! They all come back to their senses and without talking, turn around to run. Sadly, it couldn't be that easy, right?

"Guoh!!"

Roderick has already recovered as well and is already on us.

"Tremor!!!"

Our weapons clash violently and the shockwave is so great the ground breaks beneath my feet. Still, I have managed to block him. My raizen has a huge crack on it and my arms are trembling like crazy now but I did manage to block him.

"Guoh!!" Don't get too excited buddy, I am not here to compete with you.

I use Disperse and go towards the dragon and Borgas's position. Speaking of him, he disappeared after that dragon started coming out of the portal. Is he also trying to ambush us? His armor got damaged by Roderick so there is a chance that I can use him to defeat Borgas. I just need to time it right.

"What are you doing?!!" Seriously, Cordel, you are really asking that?

"Let's go! He is creating a diversion for us!"

Thanks, Peter, you are quick to understand when it matters. Though I can't say Cordel didn't understand. Maybe he just doesn't want to admit it.

"Guoh!! Guoh!!"

Roderick goes on a rampage from not being able to hit me and smashes everything with his Warhammer. Seriously, is it possible to wave that thing around like that? If this is how he was using it when he was alive then Tatradum never stood a chance.

"Kriek-"

Good, he kills another Longinus for me but sadly, I didn't realize…

"What are you doing?!!! Kill them all already!!"

Borgas resounds loud enough for me to hear. When I turn my head around, I notice that I have come dangerously close to the dragon. That's when the wave of his energy hits me like a hot wind when you enter the bath.

The dragon opens his mouth and a small black ball appears inside.

"Shit!!"

I evade Roderick using Disperse again then flee towards a building. Rodrick comes and breaks it all down in an instant, forcing me to go back to the open ground, I fly to escape the war hammer and find myself completely exposed. Though, could I have really escaped this?

The roar of the dragon fills his mouth and right as it shoots it out!!

"Krieekk!!!"

"Guohh!!"

The explosion from his roar fills my whole field of vision, with Roderick at the center. Roderick the savior, you will be remembered, trust me. In any case, this is do or die, I guess. Even though miss Djibril told me to be careful. I deploy Sphere, fills my raizen and coat my body with as much Angas as I can, and brace for the impact.

"Ahhhh!!!" I will survive this!!
