THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

"I will have to speak so that even a sinner like you will understand then. The destruction of Nargil, you as the one who bears that sin is the cause for this war. Our people, innocent ones were killed on that day, solely because they were there when you were carrying on your petty revenge."

"And? That's all?" 

"That's…all?" 

"So basically, you resent me because I killed the people of Nargil, right? Then get in lines because there are a lot of people who do as well. I can't believe this." Is this guy for real, he started a war and killed thousands of people out of resentment for me?

"You think that's the only thing." 

Out of nowhere, the hammer hands appears in front of me, and then I receive a punch so powerful my vision blanks. I don't even know how I manage to deploy a light wall in the last second. I am sure I would have fainted if not for that shield. I land brutally three times on the floor then I manage to regain my balance but when I raise my head, he is there once again.. We have moved to the end of the hall already. 

I happen to see Willhem having a hard time against his opponent as well. And the dome doesn't seem to have been lifted. Shit. 

"You think I am doing this out of resentment for you?" He punches me again and my light wall is destroyed. I try to move to the side while bombarding him with bullets but then the second punch comes and nails me on the wall.

"Uargh!!" Shit, that one hurts like hell! 

"You think you are the only reason for all this? When they sacrificed us like pigs?" He punches me again. "When they turned us into slaves?" And again. "When they mocked and humiliated us?" His punches are heavy but not enough to make me faint as before. Is he pulling his punches? Or can he not do that same thing as before? 

Maybe he was using his Angas to do that so now that his Longinus gear is on, he can't do it. Then I must take advantage of it as best as I can. 

"Ahahaha." 

"You would laugh in front of your judge? Have you no shame, sinner?" 

"Shame? How can I feel shame when you hit like a little girl?" 

"…Sinner, you are awfully disrespectful as she said." 

"Yup, that's me." 

The hammer hands does a bigger punch than before but I use Disperse from the wall I as encased into and land behind him. I wasn't sure I would be able to do it but I was, I should use this opportunity. 

I turn around while invoking Raizen but as if he knew, he is already doing the same. My Raizen and his massive covered hand collide and immediately, a shockwave is released and the pressure around us increases. 

"Ahh!!" 

I push with all my strength but my Raizen isn't touching his fist. Our weapons are separated very clearly even though the pressure from the clash can be felt everywhere. My ears also start ringing. 

"Hmph. Ridiculous." The battering ram on his hands moves back a little then moves with the speed of a flash into his foreman like a mace. It releases another shockwave that completely destroys Raizen and obliterates me to wherever.

It hurts! Dammit! It freaking hurts! This guy made a mess of my arms to the point my fingers are all bent backward! His blow was powerful to send me crashing into the wall on the other side of the hall. It really hurts but at least now I am sure of it. His punches are less powerful than before. I must absolutely take advantage of this.

"Kevin!!" 

"I am okay!! Focus on your own fight!" I could really use some help right now but Willhem won't be able to handle them both.

'Use…power.' Fucking dammit, I told you that I would be using it already if I could. Leave me alone!

"DO you feel anger?" 

The hammer hands walks to me slowly, like some kind of predator which prey is already dead. You really think you will win this, don't you?

'Use…wer.' Dammit, you!! If you say one more…Suddenly, I notice that my body is enveloped in it. Draconic power. A brownish-red hue is all around my body and I can feel its power slowly soaking into me. But that's not mine. I am sure this isn't my draconic power. Is it that dragon who is trying to help me then?

"Tch. And here I wanted to fight all alone." 

"Are you going to use your secret power?" The hammer hands look at me with interest now. He even smiles while walking the same arrogant way. 

"You know about dragons?" I wouldn't be surprised since there is a dragon here. I guess I know why Dilt was here after all.

"Sir Dilt told me that I should be careful in case you still manage to use it. It shouldn't be possible but I guess we underestimated you." 

"Wait, so it's you guys' fault that I can use it properly?!!" 

"I wonder." 

I heal myself as rapidly as I can and thanks to the help of the dragon, it is even faster than I expected. The hammer hands takes a stance when he is about ten meters away from me. The wind starts swirling around his fist and I know instinctively that this is going to be bad. 

"Oh no, you don't!" I use Disperse to close the distance then fires a bullet at Willhem's opponent who appears behind the hammer hands. 

"Foolish." The hammer hands strikes the air with such speed I barely managed to dodge. My arm is hit and it turns into a vulgar piece of meat that is shredded and dislocated everywhere. The sound of the hammer hands's blow is so powerful my ears ring like crazy. But still, I have an opening.

"And I will use it!!" 

I invoke Raizen and strike his head. This time, nothing blocks it and the hit is hard enough for his head to move. 

"Is that all?"
