THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

KEVIN DRAGONROAD POV: 

"Wow. You sure did them good, huh." 

When we arrive, the battlefield is a mess. The Longinus are everywhere, the soldiers were in a really bad posture and Farner is held by Excia who was apparently healing her before we arrive. The Longinus in front of me looks a lot like that one from before, though this one has seven crystals all alone. That's even more than the hammer hands. Where do they even pop out every time? 

"Is she okay?" I look at Excia and she simply nods, then restarts healing Farner. Yeah, you should take good care of her. 

"You are the one who did this to her, I guess." The Longinus leader smiles and places the axe she is holding in one of her hands on her shoulder.

"Yes, I did, Dragonroad. But I am surprised. I thought you were supposed to be over hundreds of kilometers away." 

"Are you blind? Didn't you see us flying down?" Willhem finally speaks, and everybody looks at him like they didn't notice him until now. He is standing a bit far away to my left.

A lot of things happened while I was dead and I still can't wrap my head around it myself but the fact is that two people got a bit of my draconic soul just like Dilt and his father Eorland. Willhem is the first. As for the second...

"That wouldn't surprise me. Most of them don't see or hear. They move purely out of instinct after all." Thando also speaks, making people look at him right now. 

Both of them don't look too different. Though Thando was cut in half before. But I can feel it. I can feel their presence, their emotions even. 

"Ah…" While they are talking, somebody grabs my leg. When I look, I meet my father's eyes and the emotions they show are so numerous you would think he has gone crazy. Though, I don't care so.

"Just go and stay with your wife. That's the only thing you are good at after all." 

"Ke…Kevin." My mother's voice also reaches my ears but as I said, you guys don't interest me. I am here because Farner needed help. 

The Longinus leader moves like the wind and tries to strike me but I use Sphere and her sword lands on it. 

"Ohh…You can block it, huh. Will you entertain me more than the heroes then? Because I have only been disappointed so far." I look at her and her smile is creepy. Those dark teeth remind me of Anriette. Yeuk.

"It's you who has to entertain me." I punch her and she flies away while leaving a crystal behind. She lands more than twenty meters away with a loud and brutal sound. I pack all of my current strength in that punch so I hope you enjoyed it. 

"Kriekkk!!!" Like the sound of battle, the Longinus who seemed dormant until now restart moving. Some of them were cleared out when we landed but that's not enough, I guess.

"No!! Help me!!" 

"Gya!!" What the fuck is wrong with those soldiers? They don't even fight and just flee like they have lost the desire to fight…no, more like they didn't have it in the first place. 

"Sigh…Willhem, Thando. Help them. I will take care of the leader." 

"You got, boss." 

"Do not forget your promise." I know Thando. I won't forget. As soon as everything is over, we will fight until one of us dies. "Can I use it already? I don't like pulling my punches." 

"DO as you wish." Thando releases his aura then his draconic energy starts seeping out as well. 

"Let's do this." 

His aura expands then fuses with draconic power and takes the shape of a dragon armor around him. Horns, hands, legs…A red armor-like aura is covering his whole body. So that's how it looks like, huh. I wonder if mine is the same. 

"Kriek!!" 

He goes off like thunder and strikes the Longinus with such strength and speed most of them just disintegrates when his hands reach them. 

"Okay, now…" 

I go to the heroes and find Roxcia pitifully sitting on her butt like the world just ended around her. Her eyes are dead as well and she is a bit pale.

"What happened with her?" I look at Excia who is the only one still up but she simply shakes her head.

"She is just a bit out of it. Don't worry, it is nothing too serious." 

"And Farner?" I touch her cheek and push her hair to the side a little. I am sorry for being late. 

"She will live. Though, I don't have enough power left to heal her completely." 

"Then go to the saintess. She will help you." 

"What about you? Don't you need help?" 

The Longinus leader comes out of the burial grounds she lands in and the dark aura she is emitting could be scary to anyone. But not to me, not right now. 

"Yeah, don't worry. I got this." 

"Interesting!!! You are very interesting!! Human!!" 

She launches herself at me but before she can reach me, crescent bullets hit her horse's feet then the lower hands. She doesn't lose her balance though. 

"I am stronger than that, you know?!!" She is tough, that's for sure indeed. My bullets should be powerful now even if I don't use draconic energy yet.

"Is that so." I invoke Raizen and block her attack my body vibrates from it and I am even pushed back a little. 

"Come on, entertain me!! Struggle for your survival!! Show your worth!!" 

"Sigh…This again." I heard that before and frankly speaking, it didn't end up nicely for the guy who said it. I would advise you not to provoke me by using that same method but since you are going to die. It is no use, right?

The leader starts swinging her arms around, hitting from all possible angles but I can follow her every movement. I counter all her attacks and each time I do, shockwaves resound like an explosion was released.
