THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

FARNER SAINT AXELANDRIA POV:

"Sigh…you still haven't changed that temper of yours. Going as far as erasing your children." 

"I said shut up!! They are mine to do as I see fit!!" 

The pillars and the walls of the room start cracking. The floor is trembling slightly as well. This is the strength of gods. Right here, right now, I am watching two gods fighting with just their auras and it is such a scene I am not sure anyone would believe me if I told them.

"It is you who is going to shut up." At those words, the whole room returns to the calm state that I found when I came. "Have you forgotten that the council got dissolved ever since the war broke out, ever since your father died!" 

My mother find herself on her knees, just like I was. This god is that much powerful compared to her..

"Bastard!! You just wanted my world from the beginning, right?!! You fucking traitor!" 

"Traitor? Me?" The god advances to mother and as he stands before her, even her head is being forcibly lowered until her forehead touches the floor. "You have been managing this world for over a thousand years now, and the Longinus presence which was almost nonexistent here has grown to the point my own child is suffering right now to correct your mistakes. And you would call me a traitor? Then perhaps killing you and taking over this world would be better indeed." 

"Bastardddd!!!!!" 

As mother screams, the god raises his hand and a sword made of a furious red light appears in it. This power, it looks a lot like Kevin's power that he has shown us that day. 

"No, please, stop!" Without thinking, I spoke, and as if to answer my plea, the heavy atmosphere of the room changes. 

"What is it, child?" The god looks at me with a warm and gentle smile. Why does it like he is the father I never had that much?

"I-I…I am sorry. But please, don't kill my mother."

"She tried to kill you earlier, you know?"

"I know but still, she is my mother. I cannot hate her. And I think I understand how she is feeling a bit." 

"Shut up!! You defective!! You couldn't even take care of the single task I gave you!" 

"I…I am sorry, mother. I don't know what I was supposed to do. I don't know what is the mission you gave to us. But please, please, let me go and save the guy I love, please." 

Tears start flowing down my eyes even though I don't want to cry and my mother raised her head back and stand up as well. 

"You are dead so why should I do that?" 

"Please…I beg you." 

"She isn't dead anyway so why are you torturing her?" 

"You were just about to kill me so why did you stop?" 

"Sigh…I was just trying to intimidate you. As I was trying to say, there is no more council ever since the war but there is a war council instead. And as the current highest member of the council, I have certain privileges." 

"Like invading other people's worlds and doing as you please with them?" 

"Among other things, yes. I did save fourteen worlds since then." 

The tension decreases significantly and mother seems more relaxed as well. Did I save her? Did I just change everything? Then, why are my tears not stopping? 

"Sigh…I will not return her." 

"No, please. Let me go back. Or if I can't then please, help him." 

"I will never help you guys directly. If you are weak then it is your problem. I am already helping enough by granting you my blessing." 

"You are just…" 

"Shut up, okay?! It is my world and I do what I want with it." 

"Of course…" 

"Mother, please!!" 

"Argh, shut it!! No means no, alright!" 

"Child, do you truly wish to help?" 

"Yes, I want to help him! I want to help them all!" 

"Even if you have to lose your status?" 

"Of course!! What is the point of being a hero if I can't save them? I will do whatever it takes to save the people I love, even if I am not a hero anymore." 

"Good. Then I will help you." 

"Hey! Stop overstepping your boundaries!" Mother, can't you just let go?

"It's either you or me." 

"Tch. Okay, I will let her go back. But if I do, you won't send any more of your people in my world, deal?" 

"Deal." They shake hands as if everything that just happened was simply child play. The god Varian looks at me and smiles lightly. "Child, when you go back, tell the Dragonroad that it is time." 

"I…I will." 

As the god says that, I start fading and my mind starts blanking as well. I hope I will find him before Excia and Roxcia do something unreasonable. God Varian, was it? I shall pray to you and thank you for your help. 

"Oh, before I forget. Please, take good care of the child you carry, okay?"

"W-what?" The god says one last thing before my mind completely goes adrift. A child? I am carrying a child? I am pregnant? No way!!

When I reopen my eyes, everything is dark. Where did they put me? I raise my hand and I it is blocked by something. I pus hit a first time and it opens a little, letting light enter the place where I am. 

"Tch." Where the hell did they put me? 

I kick whatever is covering this tight box and as it flies, light bathes my eyes. I get out of there and realize I was in a grave, inside a room. There is my very first sword and my old armor as well. Also, I feel it.

"Argh… it hurts." My chest hurts. 

When I touch it, there is a closed wound right between my breasts. This fucking pervert. For once, he manages to aim it right. 

(Don't ask me for the reference, you guys are the perverts here, not me.)

I will make sure to punch me extra hard when I see him. I put the armor on and take my sword. Then as I come out, I find myself in a long corridor decorated with statues of us heroes. Ah, this is the second level of the basement of the church if I remember correctly. 

I sprint through the basement but there is no one anywhere. No guards, no priests, no nothing. Even on the ground floor of the church, there is no one. When I come out of the church's building, the sky has an orange-black color to it. This isn't a normal color. 

"Hya!!" 

"Kill him!! Kill him!!" 

I hear voices, screams, coming from the coliseum. I don't know what is happening but it seems everybody is there. And this fucking pain in my chest that won't stop. 

"Dammit!" Let's forget about it. I run as fast I can, I run with all my might and power to the coliseum. The main entrance is locked and chained. Who did something so stupid? I go to the side entrance and meet some soldiers there.

"Hero? H-how? Why-"

"What is happening?!!" 

"But you-"

"Answer me!!" I grab one of them by the collar and raise him up in the air. 

"Th-the heroes are executing the servant of the Longinus who took your life." 

"Those fucking idiots!!" I knew they would do something stupid!!

I release the guard and sprint through the stairs bringing to the spectators' seats. But right when I arrive, the first thing I see is Roxcia who is about to kill him.

"No!!! Stop!!!" 

Sadly, I was too late. Kevin gets stabbed and the sword goes right through him. Since when did Roxcia use a sword? And why did you not use your power now of all times?

After that, Kevin pushes Roxcia away and fires a ray of red lightning at the sky. How come the sky here was blu… The sky shatters. Before my very eyes, the sky shatters and takes the same orange black color that it had outside. Floating in the middle of the sky, there is a black-coated figure that feels naturally threatening right there. Who…what is that?
