The Adventurer System

No one could expect that the nerd guy could win against the rising mages in this virtual reality game. With his calm movements and high presence of mind were his keys to achieving the victory.

The whole Adventure Stadium was enveloped by a deafening silence. In their minds, it was not the participant that would step into the next stage. What they could do? Hiro already showed that he was no longer an underrated mage in this world.

Moreover, the most awaited match between these two parties was the battle of the party leader. But before that, there was one more match that would happen between the two Ranger class of each party.

To begin with, on the left side, a middle-aged man had black and white hair, a mustache, a bulk physique, and blue eyes. To describe his outward appearance the most simple way that he was looked like an American. His screen name was Jones, level 29 sniper. Jones belonged to Goda's party.

By just easily looking at him, you will notice that his middle-aged man already had so much experience in this fight.

On the opposite side, was a young man that had an innocent face, blue hair, silver eyes, and wearing plated armor on his upper body while his under was just knees' protection. His screen name was Arbez, level 29 gunner.

He gulped a bit along with his sweat on his hands as he was pressured by the intense atmosphere given by Jones. After they met in the amid, he smiled at him uncomfortably and said. "Let's have a good fight, mister Jones, I know I would learn new techniques from you."

Jones chuckled, the replied to him with an American accent. "Hahaha! We have the same here, kid. But let's show a fight that every audience here would enjoy."

After Jones did not show any aggressive reaction, Arbez felt uncomfortable also made him take a deep breath.

'Hais... No matter what the result of this fight as long as I give what I have got it's totally fine with me.' He uttered to his mind as he was slowly stepping back while getting his gun inside his inventory.

As soon as the countdown on the elevated screen was down to zero the two pull their weapons. For Jones was a long heavy sniper that could easily kill you once you were hit by it while for Arbez was a long fast revolver.

In an instant, multiple gunshots transpired in the arena, also it was loud enough to feel them that the sound was rupturing into their ears. Moreover, Jones was moving flawlessly as he was dodging the magic bullets that swiftly came at him.

Nevertheless, he knew that he can't fire his sniper in his current position. Or to be exact, Jones should be in the right position before he used sniper, in order to didn't knockback with his own magical power. So he just does was concentrating his magical power on his sniper and waited for the best time to use it.

And all of a sudden, Jones was stumbled on his footing when the magical golden bullets penetrated to his legs. Because of this occurrence, it would surely slow down his movements.

Yet, he had still a nonchalant expression on his face, knowing in just one direct contact it would settle the fight. On the other side, Arbez was swiftly running in the corner and firing his guns.

'It's given that my fatigue would easily drain if I continue to fight in this face but... This is the only thing I can do if I really want to win this one.' Arbez said to his mind, at the same time, won't use one of his skills.

Yes, it was also the main reason why Jones doesn't want to use his sniper since it would consume a long duration that was enough time for Arbez to attack him. He shook his head, then took back his weapon inside his inventory, by doing this, it can increase as he wasn't now using any heavy rifle.

It was the thing why Arbez was feeling that this middle-aged was an experienced adventurer. To be more simple, Jones was forcing Arbez to fight in hand-to-hand combat.

In just a blink of an eye, Jones has already attained a closer distance with him and swung his right arm to punch him. Also, even though Arbez was well savvy about what this middle-aged man was trying to do, still, it was so fast that impossible for him to react easily.

He stopped from firing his magic bullets as he was now holding his stomach and enduring the severe pain given by the attack. Jones's punch was barely hit to him that pushed his opponents to back away.

He was rolling on the surface, at the same time, knowing Jones would attack him in this position.

Before Arbez could regain his footing, Jones was ready to attack as he already gathered the exact amount of mana that would kill his opponents.

Arbez's eyes were widened, but eventually, turned into a broad smile as he knew there was no other way to survive in this match and take the points for his party.

A tremendous explosion was taking the place and it looked was so strong that it could break the barrier that protected the audiences from any wild skills that could harm them.

Yes, Arbez was easily killed by that attack as his whole body was turning into dust. Luckily, the barrier can easily take back his body.

Jones won in the fight against the ranger versus ranger class battle. It was a clear victory and Arbez learned a new technique to him even in just a short period. He must not always rely on his guns.

The series tied in 2-2 scores and the next match would settle who was the party would step into the second phase. Furthermore, the next battle would settle the match as it were between the party leader.

Arbez apologized to them as he knew he was the reason why they can catch up on this series. Yet, Lorith won't mind since she knew Jones was also a skilled adventurer in events.

On the other side, Yumiro, Asarki, and Hippie were called by a woman that had fluffy red-orange fur that looked like sharp a fox.

"Adventurer Asarki, please inform your members that go to the waiting section for the next match."

After the woman fox said these words, she left the area to inform the other party.

"Again? Why we are always an early fight huh???I'm enjoying watching the right of the adventurers." Yumiro said in a deep tone, seeing the party leader step on the platform.

"We can't do anything about it, Grim, we have just three adventurers in our party so they would rush us to fight."

Yumiro understood what he was trying to say, but he was enjoying each match. Aside from that, it was the battle of the two-party leader which means he can see and copy the some of their abilities.

Lorith and Goda were facing each other, waiting for the countdown to disappear in front of them so they could start the fight that the audience was looking for. First, Goda apologized to her for the shameful action of Mulan against Monica.

Lorith accepted his apology since she knew this man would never make a plan that could sexually abuse the others. After that, they were cast buff skills to increase their defense and physical strength, it was the strategy where the adventurer their skill before the match started.

THE NEXT BATTLE WAS BETWEEN WITH GODA AND LORITH. WHO DO YOU THINK GONNA WIN? A MAN WHO SHOWS HIS MAGNIFICENCE IN THE EARLY STAGE OF HIS JOURNEY IN THIS WORLD. OR THE WOMAN WHO HAD THE SPECIAL TALENT.

The audience were started to bet on the adventurer that they gonna think would win.

"Fiora, what is the progress about the masked guy? You already did what I have said to you, isn't it?" The blue leaf Captain asked the woman behind him.

She slowly shook her head, "Yes, Captain Brix, I said to the organizer they make sure the next match Asarki's party would fight."

Brix was gradually kneading his chin. "That's good, Fiora, and your next job is to convince the masked guy to join the guild."

She confidently nodded her head at him, in her mind, it was the easiest job but still saw the potential in the masked guy. "Leave everything to me, Captain Brix. I just waiting for a perfect plan to confront him-!"

Their conversation ended and two of them were glancing at back after hearing the explosion that came from the party leader's skills.

A giant halo blade was regulating in Goda's hand as he wanted to destroy this woman in one slash.

"Take this, Lorith, I will not hold back to this match! So show to us what you got!"
