The Arrancar

Making his way to the backyard of his Palace Grimmjow gave them all a short brief on their mission before opening up the Garganta to the world of the living, "So this mission isn't one that Aizen has approved of, actually, it cannot even really be considered a mission just a Task that Hexxius is sending me on. We are being sent there to terrorize the soul reapers and kick up a bit of a mess. Now death isn't an option so if you are being overwhelmed fall back and regroup with me, in fact, I doubt any of you are dumb enough to get killed. Now let's go."

Stepping out of the Garganta into the dark sky overlooking Karakura town Grimmjow sent his Faccion to attack the beings with the Highest spirit energies. In response to the first "Invasion" done by Zommari, and Ulquiorra the Soul Society sent an advance squad led by a Captain to intercept the Arrancar before they could do too much damage to the world of the living.

As each faccion moved throughout the night sky, slowly they each encountered a Soul Reaper. Shawlong encountered Captain Hitsugaya, Edrad encountered Ikkaku, Nakeem Encountered Rangiku, Yylfordt encountered Renji, and Di Roy encountered Ichigo and Rukia.

Feeling the spirit energy of his Faccion and the Soul Reapers that they are about to engage in battle against, Grimmjow searched for Ichigo's. "Huh, that idiot Di Roy met him first. I doubt he will be killed too quickly but he won't be able to complete the mission as Lord Hexxius wanted."

Grimmjow slowly made his way towards the three, close enough to see but far away enough to not be seen. Unlike in the original, Di Roy was made a Vasto Lorde before his promotion to Arrancar along with the other members of the Faccion. The remnants of his Hollow Mask were a small protruding helmet-like piece that extended from the right side of his head. His spiritual pressure was far greater than it had been as well.

Before Rukia and Ichigo could speak Di Roy attacked, using Sonido he arrived in front of Ichigo and delivered a powerful kick that was blocked by Ichigo's Zanpakuto. "*Tch* I was expecting that kick to remove your head from your shoulders. I underestimated the amount of force needed to do that, oh well."

Di Roy put some distance between Ichigo and himself, he then observed his two opponents. "Lord Grimmjow told me that I need to stop being so arrogant, there will always be someone stronger than I. So allow me to introduce myself, I am Arrancar Number 54, Di Roy Rinker!"

'54? So he is the 54th Strongest Arrancar? He's Weak!' Ichigo looked at the Arrancar before him that had a slight smirk on his face as his Shark-like teeth gleaned in the Moonlight.

"You're probably thinking that I am Ranked 54th out of all the Arrancar which is indeed true, but there are thousands of Arrancar in Las Noches, putting that in perspective it's somewhat similar to the 13 court guard squads. You have a Captain while we have an Espada, I would be considered a seated officer but in Las Noches, I am a Faccion. And The Espada I serve makes my power look like nothing more than a grain of sand in the desert."

Di Roy put his hand on the hilt of his Zanpakuto. "Under us Faccion, are three-digit number Arrancar ending at the Number 199 known as the Vaina, and lastly the foot soldiers of Las Noches are the Numuros numbered 200 and above. Therefore under the Espada, I am actually one of the strongest fighters. Now that we have explanations out of the way let's get this fight going huh?"

Drawing his Zanpakuto Di Roy Licked the blade causing blood to dye it red. "*Frenzy! Martillo!*"

Blood like water flooded the area as Di Roy released his Zanpakuto, the spiritual energy that rained down on Ichigo and Rukia caused an extreme amount of apprehension. When the fanfare subsided Standing before Di Roy stood before them much larger, his original 5'6 frame towered over them at 6'8. His body was dyed red with shark-like skin and his head was turned into something similar to that of a hammerhead shark. "Resurreccion: Tiburon Martillo!"

The Arrancar in Karakura town all looked over in Di Roy's direction as the soul reapers felt the massive spike in Spirit Energy. "It Seems Di Roy encountered two rather competent individuals, unlike you all they weren't under the effect of Gentei Reīn and could show their full strength from the start."

Captain Hitsugaya's eyes widened when he heard that. "What? Did you think we would invade the world of living without doing proper research? That's the most important thing in warfare, information! Lady Nel has hammered this into all Arrancars' heads! We never underestimate any opponent, we aren't so stupid to not understand why the 13 Court Guard Squads exist and why the captains hold such power." Shawlong was long-winded but it allowed Captain Hitsugaya to understand more about the Arrancar.

"In actuality, there is no way I could defeat you at your full power unless I was willing to die along with you. That aside, even if I cannot defeat you Mr.Soul Reaper Captain above me there are far more powerful and far more scary opponents. In Las Noches, only the Espada have the right to command any Arrancar or Hollow besides lord Aizen." Shawlong then showed Hitsugaya the number tattooed on his hand.

"I am Arrancar Number 50, Shawlong Koufang. Since our mission here isn't to defeat you we can talk for a while"

Boom! A massive shockwave causes debris to fly in their direction.

'Di Roy is really showing out.' Shawlong looked over at the fight and saw Di Roy standing in the sky changing a Cero. Two orbs of Black-Crimson energy collected by his eyes "Cero Oscuras!"

The attack dyed the town red as Captain Hitsugaya looked over at the Arrancar with a look of worry. 'If there are stronger Arrancar above them I don't think this war will be easy.'

"See Captain we aren't weak, Di Roy there is actually the weakest Arrancar we brought along with us. The Strongest Arrancar here is actually an Espada." When Shawlong said that Captain Hitsugaya's eyes widened.

"You are still quite young aren't you Captain? Allowing your emotions to show so clearly on your face when an enemy is before you is quite the problem. Before you ask, yes he is far more powerful than all of us here, it is on a completely different plane! He is Espada Number 5 Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez." Shawlong's face displayed his pride in his leader.

"Only Number 5? Yet he can command an Arrancar of your caliber?" Captain Hitsugaya was no longer as apprehensive once he noticed the Arrancars weren't going to attack until the Soul reapers were at full power. 'What is their plan?'

"All Espada are in Charge of their own personal forces just like how you Captains are in Charge of a Squad. You aren't the Strongest Captain you are slightly below average when I compare you to your colleagues as of now anyway. You are a prodigy so eventually, you will have the power befitting that title."

"As of now, our goal isn't to kill you, If we do such a thing the Head Captain will become far more serious about his preparations. It is not wise to step on the tail of a Dragon, therefore just like how you are trying to gather information from me I have been confirming the accuracy of our intel. What's that face? Did you think I was just running my mouth for no reason? Hahahaha.." Shawlong's laugh struck a nerve but Captain Hitsugaya controlled himself.
