Out in New Mexico desert , the remote Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S research facility was in complete state of panic . The people were evacuating while a black helicopter flies in .

In the ensuing chaos , Agent Coulson was standing next to the landing pad to welcome the incoming helicopter.

The chopper landed and Agent Maria Hill walked out of it followed by S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury .

The two approach Agent coulson .

NICK FURY:"How bad is it?"

AGENT PHIL COULSON:"That's the problem, sir. We don't know."

Agent Coulson leads both Hill and Fury through the radiation section

of the facility.

AGENT PHIL COULSON:"Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago."

NICK FURY:"NASA didn't authorize Selvig to testing phase "

AGENT PHIL COULSON:"He wasn't testing it, he wasn't even in

the room. Spontaneous advancement."

AGENT MARIA HILL:" It just turned itself on?"

NICK FURY:"What are the energy levels now?"

AGENT PHIL COULSON: "Climbing. When Selvig couldn't shut it down, we ordered the evac."

NICK FURY:"How long to get everyone out?"

AGENT PHIL COULSON:" Campus should be clear in the next half

hour."

NICK FURY:"Do better."

The three of them met Dr Selvig and continued to discuss the energy spike that the tesseract was emitting.

Suddenly , the tesseract glowed brighter and its energy built up into a beam like the Bifrost bridge. The beam opens a portal then after a burst of energy , heavy breathing could be heard from the platform.

A kneeling figure appeared slowly on the the platform to the approaching armed guards.

The figure was Loki with the sceptre in his hand.

Nick Fury :" Sir , please put down the spear ."

Loki looked at his spear then points it at where Barton and Fury were and shoots a blue blast toward them .

While Loki was busy controlling the minds of Barton and several S.H.I.E.L.D personnel , Fury places the tesseract in its case and tries to exit the lab . He was interrupted by a voice halting him in his steps .

LOKI:"Please don't. I still need that ."

NICK FURY stopped in his tracks then turned and said :"This doesn't have to get any messier ."

LOKI:"Of course it does. I've come too far for anything else. I am Loki of Asgard,and I am burdened with glorious purpose."

SELVIG:"Loki? Brother of Thor ? "

NICK FURY:"We have no quarrel with your people."

LOKI:"An ant has no quarrel with a boot."

NICK FURY :"You planning to step on us?"

LOKI:" I come with glad tidings, of a world

made free."

NICK FURY:"Free from what?"

LOKI:" Freedom. Freedom is life's great lie.Once you accept that, in your heart" he then turned to face Selvig who's standing behind him and placed his spear against Selvig's heart.

Selvig's eyes glowed black , he was under Loki's mind control .Loki then continued charmingly:"You will know peace."

NICK FURY:"Yeah, you say peace, I kind of think you mean the other thing."

CLINT BARTON said almost mechanically :" Sir, Director Fury is stalling. This place is about to blow. Drop a hundred feet of rock on us. He means to bury us."

NICK FURY:"Like The Pharaohs of Odin."

SELVIG :" He's right. The portal is collapsing in on itself. You got maybe two minutes before this goes critical."

LOKI:" Well, then..." . He said signaling to Barton who without hesitation shoots at Fury who drops on the ground.

Loki then left the facility with his mind-controlled minions.

Inside the Helicarrier bridge, the people called in were gathered and discussing the events.

NICK FURY greeted the guests :"Gentlemen."

Fury walks over Banner and extends his hand. Banner, reluctantly shakes it.

NICK FURY:" Doctor, thank you for coming."

Dr.Banner played the shy guy perfectly:"Thanks for asking nicely. So, uh... how long am I staying?"

NICK FURY:"Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, you're in the clear."

Dr. BANNER asked :"Where are you with that?"

Nick Fury turns to Agent Coulson for an explanation.

AGENT PHIL COULSON:" We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet.Cellphones, ŀȧptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us."

NATASHA:"That's still not gonna find them in time."

Dr.BANNER:" You have to narrow the field. How many spectrometers do you have access to?"

NICK FURY:"How many are there?"

Dr.BANNER:"Call every lab you know, tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm based on cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places. Do you have somewhere for me to work?"

NICK FURY :"Agent Romanoff, would you show Dr.Banner to his laboratory, please."

Natasha nods and walks off, leading Banner down the hall.

With the help of Banner's algorithm, they were able to find the tesseract in Stuttgart.

The team was mobilized and a battle ensued between Loki and the avengers and the former was subdued with the help of the latecomer Tony Stark in his Irom man suit.

Loki was transported inside a Quinjet.

During the ride, Lightning and Thunder was seen and heard.

Thor was angry seeing his brother who he thought was dead, is alive and bringing havoc on Midgard.

An argument ensued between the two brothers. Their argument was interrupted by Iron man knocking Thor of the mountain.

THOR:"Do not touch me again!"

TONY:"Then don't take my stuff."

THOR:"You have no idea what you're dealing with."

TONY:"Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?"

THOR:"This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice!"

TONY :"He gives up the Cube, he's all yours. Until then, stay out of my way...tourist."

A fight happened between the two until both of them were moved back by an unseen force.

In Thor's vision, a flame began flickering until it took the shape of someone familiar to him, Elijah the white-haired man.

Elijah acknowledged him and said:" I'm just an illusion, only you can see me."

Thor stood up and looked at Elijah. To others, it looked like Thor is looking at emptiness.

He nodded in understanding.

Elijah said:" your brother is a God of Mischief always creating trouble. And especially in my territory, Prince of Asgard ."

Thor sighed and looked ashamed:" Excuse my brother, he's always been like that. When I find the tesseract, I will take him and it back to Asgard."

Steve Rogers joined in and both he and Tony as well as Loki were looking at Thor weirdly since he was talking to the air.

Elijah hummed and said:" That could be allowed. You should go with the tin can and Spandex, they could help you find the tesseract." Elijah's illusion began to flicker and started disappearing not before warning:" Do not make me get involved in this. It could get very messy ."

Thor watched the disappearing Elijah intently. The man always gave him the creeps. When he told his father about the existence that is Elijah. His father informed him that someone who he not Heimdall can detect is a powerful individual and powerful people don't take territory intrusion too lightly.

He flew and took Loki then walked past both Iron man and Captain America, entered the quinjet and sat down to the confusion of both avengers and Natasha.

Elijah on his side was watching everything with an amused expression while he thought:" If Hela could see both her brothers' stupidity, she would certainly kill them ."
