The Fallen Consort

As soon as Yi Ling, Minzhe and Qianru entered the Xiang Kingdom, they noticed some difference instantly.

"Did something major happened?" Qianru murmured to herself, but the other two heard it.

There were more people in the streets, it was almost crowded to the brim. Merchants were all yelling what they were selling and people were busy passing by or buying. There was a lot of commotion everywhere, especially inside the restaurants.

They could see high nobles who were dress in silks and expensive robes, as well as luxurious carriages.

"Minzhe, scout the area. See if there's an event coming or what? Why are there so many people here at this time? Qianru, drive the carriage." Yi Ling murmured.

"Yes." They both nodded and went to their tasks. It was Minzhe who constantly drove the carriage, since he was the only man between them three.

Yi Ling was sitting inside the carriage and was looking outside. It made her wonder why Xiang Kingdom was busy at this time of the year. While she was silent on her thoughts, Their carriage suddenly pulled to a complete stop.

"Look where your going! Tsk.. Can't you see that we are passing through? Don't you know who we are?!" A man yelled.

As soon as the people heard the commotion, they all stop and stared. It seems like, everyone's focused was on them.

"Apparently, you can't drive right. You aren't supposed to hog all the road to yourself." Qianru remarked back. She can't believe this man was blind! Did he think that they own the road?!

Yi Ling's brows furrowed, but she didn't speak a word. She only listened to what was going on outside, as well she tried to perceive the people's aura. She noticed that they were three people in front. The coachman, an old man and a woman inside the carriage. The coachman was in Dawning Stage, the Old man was at the peak of Nascent Stage and the woman was in the mid-rank of Nascent Stage.

"Hmmp! You dare block the carriage of the Young Miss of the Black Rain Sect?! You are looking for death!" The old man yelled back. He was the one in charge of protecting the Young Miss, as she travelled here in Xiang Kingdom.

The people gasps. Hearing that the Young Miss of the Black Rain Sect was inside the carriage, they could only shake their heads. Everyone knows that it was one of the prominent sects in Mid-rank Kingdom. Whoever tries to cause trouble for them, would certainly not have a good ending.

"Looking for death? Are you talking about yourself?! You mere 'People' have no shame!" Qianru harrumphed. She emphasized the word People, since she wasn't one. It has been a while since she had talked to someone and she had a deep grudge with humans. Trying to use her as their bow was an insolence act! Now that someone was looking for trouble, she could bȧrėly hold her anger.

"You? A mere coachman? Call you master here! He dares to block the Young Miss! He or she must pay for their crimes!" He could perceive no aura coming from the coachman nor the person inside the carriage. So the old man deduced that they were merely insignificant people who had come in Xiang Kingdom.

"You aren't worthy to see my Master! How dare you act in such frivolous ways?!" Qianru's mouth twitched. She could easily kill this man, unfortunately she didn't want to cause trouble for her master.

Before the old man could even react, A man light purple robes kneeled in front of the carriage and he had a weird mask on.

Everyone again gasps at the man's sudden appearance! Especially that he was wearing a mask! Everyone who was in the Kingdom knew what that meant!

Seeing that mask, The old man felt a cold chill on his spine. He felt like someone dropped a cold water on him. He almost puked blood when he heard what that man had to say.

"Welcome Sect Master, You've arrived. I, Elder Minzhe will personally escort you back to the sect." Minzhe was the one who came. He already knew what was going on with the Kingdom, as well as here. It was all because of the Blue Rose Sect. Their reputation had surge way up high! Luckily, He arrived just in time to hear the two arguing.

"En. Let's visit Xiang He first, before heading back." A man's voice could be heard coming inside the carriage. It sounded mild but with power. No one would dare try to imitate the Sect Master's Identity, especially since they were inside the Xiang Kingdom. By now, they all knew that the Emperor was the Sect Master's direct disciple! From being a crippled to the 1st Rank of Emergent Stage, in only less than a year!

"Yes, Sect Master." Minzhe then stood up and looked at the old man.

"Move away! The Sect Master of the Blue Rose Sect is here. Whoever shall block our way, will pay with their blood!" Minzhe yelled as loud he could. He also released his aura, letting everyone's knees buckled, trembling and almost puking with blood. He only showed enough power to make the people fear them, not to kill or injure.

Minzhe knew that his mother wouldn't hurt anyone unless that person was looking for trouble. Since no blood was lost, he didn't want to waste his time. He smirked inside his mask. Seeing the old man's looks, like he had swallowed a fly.
