The Nemesis

Myra asked Edwin that is he doing alright. In response, Edwin gave gestures that express how does he look. Myra laughed at him and asked again that did Edwin remember who she is. Edwin nodded that he didn't recognize her. Myra helped him to remember. She told him that she is the one who saved him and fed him when he was in that forest, alone. Again, she asked him that Edwin remember it and know about his parents. Edwin replied that he remembers now that. And even now, he doesn't figure out who his parents are. But, Edwin told him that his guardian in the orphanage took good care of him and raised him.

Myra said, "That's good. So, how you've been all this time." Edwin said that the little squirt had grown now, as she can see. Some humorous conversation took place, and later Edwin asked her that if she remembers then, could she can tell him that why she intends to kill Edwin when they first met. Also, Edwin tells her that he was playing asleep when Myra talked with her father that night. Myra answered that she didn't know Edwin, and there was no symbol of citizenship from any of the twelve kingdoms. She suspects that Edwin is some spy using a transformation spell to infiltrate Pisces.

Edwin is surprised to know that. Then he asked her that how did she figure out that Edwin is not a spy. She told him that she has the power to see through the transformation since her birth. It's the ability that is passed down to her by her mother. As Edwin is not anyone in disguise so, she changes her mind to kill him. Edwin asked her that long back when she was merely a little kid is ready to kill. Myra told Edwin that Myra never wanted to kill anyone. But, she is loyal to this Kingdom by the teaching and morals her mother gave to her. And because of that, she didn't hesitate to eliminate a threat to her beloved motherland.

Besides, before meeting Edwin, she told her that her father already killed two men. And she was with him at that time. Although she didn't enjoy killing, she has sworn to protect Pisces with her life, and for its sake, she can eliminate anyone. That determination impressed Edwin, and he lost in his thinking about how much patriotic she is. Edwin wondered that he never asked Myra about her. All he knows that she saved him while she was hunting with her father. And now, she is in the unit of Brock Hamilton. Edwin pushed his luck and asked Myra that who is she anyway. Apart from the things he knows about Myra.

Myra answered that with a question about Edwin's curiosity. Why do you want to know, she asked him. Edwin replied that nothing much, and he just wanted to understand how the hunter like Myra joined the warrior division. And she is in the unit of Brock Hamilton, not as a student but as a subordinate. Myra did train hard and worked hard to get there. And not only that, but she also achieved the rank of Zar last year. At that time, except for Brock, Myra is the youngest one to get that promotion real quick. With her progress, Edwin acknowledged her capabilities. And he told her that Myra has his respect.

Myra said, "Good, now you take a rest. Get well soon and become Ar."

Myra knew that Edwin considered all of them his friends and had no intention to use that power to save them. That surge of magic acted on his own. It's not Edwin's fault. And no one believes that Emil was here to take Hiddenite. Everybody made it their reality that Emil was after Edwin after all.

Myra told Edwin to calm down. Those three made their decision and gave testimony against you. They didn't consider you as their friend. So, get over it already. You have to become a warrior successfully because you alone chose this path. And listen to me carefully.

Success can be a lonely road. It can be a tough road. It can be a hard road. It's not for everyone. Those who follow others like sheep will never know who they truly are. Only those who follow their path can discover their true potential.

Those who fly alone have the strongest wings. Those who walk alone have the strongest direction. The rest will always require others for their survival. They will always need attention need recognition to survive. I am at peace alone. Needing no attention, no recognition, and still, I thrive. I am not saying those who have friends who can support them are weak. I'm not saying that you must go at it all alone to gain strength. Like you, I too. Felt that I don't fit in. You don't need people to believe in you if you believe in yourself. You don't need anyone if you got your back all by yourself. When you truly live your life the way you want, when you speak your truth, then you gain real respect. Those who dare to follow their path and follow their heart are recognized as true warriors according to me.

Eventually, the day will come to you, you will have your comrades with you. You will have your friends with you, the real ones. Until the day comes you must give it all to make yourself a better warrior.
