Since I was leaving early I thought it would only be fair if Leon left too.

I left the office nervous with meeting my father. He loved me a lot, but it was sometimes uncomfortable being alone with him. We tend to be better around our family.

Before I took over as President, I was Vice President. It was expected for me to take over. Emily didn't have the head for this and was better suited as a actress. My younger brother was too irresponsible to handle such a position, so the responsible fell on me. I didn't feel to strongly about it, since I didn't have anything else I wanted to do with my life.

When everything was handed to me, it was only because my father felt I was mature and determined enough to handle everything.

My meeting with father took place at the usual restaurant. It was a highly regarded place with a classical theme. Music lightly played in the background. Where we sat had a breathtaking view of the city outside. While waiting I called the waiter over and told him to prepare the usual.

By the time the meals came out he arrived right on time. Looking at him I couldn't help, but smile brightly.

"Have you been waiting long?"

"Not really."

We ate in silence, but as soon as we were done we started to loosen up.

He asked how things were going on in the company. I told him the developments and the projects that were taking place. He also gave me advice on how to deal with a few matters. I took them to heart and made sure to remember. He did have more experience.

"Sierra there is something else I wanted to discuss."

"What is it?" I slowly took a drink of the water in front of me.

"Marriage."

I almost spat it out, but I slowly drank it and replied.

"Are you talking about an arranged marriage." I say this as I move a little forward.

"Yes, I know your not fond of the idea, but it might not be as bad as you think. You know that's how I and your mother began. We may not have loved each other at first, but we still fell in love. I already have a candidate in mind. I happen to know him and his family. He is a great young man, and will compliment you well."

My mother and father were a one in a million couple. Not everyone fell in love. Things like that only happen in novels. I know he didn't want me to end up alone, but the men he introduced to me were no good. Even if they were good I felt no connection with them. My father continued to try to convince me, but I couldn't take it anymore.

"I'm already married." I blurted this without a second thought. When I finally realized what I said it was already to late.

"WHAT!" My father stood up from his chair when he heard this news. The look on his face went from surprise to confusion to curiosity.

Soon a smile appeared on his face. I should have just said I was dating someone. It would have been so much easier to explain, but no I said we were married.

"What's his name?"

"...."

Seeing that I didn't have a response, he didn't force me to go on.

"If you don't want to say anything then it's fine. But when you do feel your ready make sure we have the chance to meet. I just want you to be happy."

"Okay" I mumbled.

We said our goodbyes, and my father left the table. I look at the view wondering what to do. I could hire someone, but that may be to awkward.

I left the table in a daze wondering what to do. On the drive home a thought finally came to me, and I told the driver to take me somewhere else.

I walked to his door and waited for him to answered.

Leon opened the door surprised to see me.

Before he could say anything I said six words.

"I like you. Please marry me."
