This Time, It's Forever

"What is it? I'm busy."

"Is there a day you're not busy?" she rolled her eyes upward.

"You didn't know? He's addicted to work. And they call it workaholic." Another men who's sitting on the sofa lazily took turns bashing the person behind the grand desk putting his billion dollars signature for approval. The other person who's sitting in front of the table could not help but pouting.

"Shut up Ryan. Now is not the time to give me one of your lame education. It's not like i don't what he is. But right now, we're having massive problems. And we're the one who's supposed to take care of that problem." Layla who shots a murderous glare to Ryan, turn back her head and look towards Aiden who is still busy looking through the papers. It annoys her. Now that they graduate and start on their own career, it's harder to meet nor talk. Especially Aiden who decided to follow their father's footsteps. While Layla enter the entertainment world as a scriptwriter, Ryan took charge of their mother's little cafe. It's easier to hang out with Ryan since he's not that busy although people have been asking for him to appear in other places as an honored guest but just like their mother, they prefer to keep things simple. Layla on the other hand, spend most of her time in her own small house that their parent build just for her. But with Aiden, they have to use their parent's name to make him come home or gather together and another way is to barge into his office just like today.

"It's the twins!!! Ever since they enter college, they've been creating problems here and there. We're supposed to take care of them while mom and dad is not around. Do you know what they did last week? They picked a fight with one of his classmate who happens to be the principal's son. They say it's his most favorite son of all. The genius in our entire. They actually beat him up to the point that principal's son had to be taken to the hospital and now that principal wanted to kick them out and sue them at the same time. He's asking for 1 billion. And now we have to deal with it since our parent are busy with their so called 'vacation'. We shouldn't have let them go on another vacation. Remember when they return from their long vacation? Only to bring back those twin brat." Layla complaint only to be ignored by Aiden. And Ryan only kept silence. Not sure if he's catching up with his sleep or just close his eyes. Now she's frustrated. The twins that Layla mention is their siblings. Alan and Carl. Both of them have been driving her nuts these past few days the moment their parent is out of sight. She's been getting calls of complaint. Other matters she could handle but the recent one is not something that she could handle alone. And it's making her more frustrated when neither Aiden and Ryan are helping her in these matter. She look at them both in anger and stand up before smashing the vase that's near her. Ryan was startled and watch Layla who's already in tears. Aiden finally stop what he's doing and glare at Layla.

"You can glare me to death as you like, i don't give a damn about it. If both of you don't give a care nor bother about our brothers, then fine. I won't even bother to talk about them to you guys anymore. Or to be exact, i don't care also. For the past few days, i've been dealing with their antics and none of you bother to help me. Giving the same excuse saying you're busy and such. If mommy and daddy are here, i wouldn't bother on telling these things to the both of you because no matter how busy mommy and daddy are they will drop everything just for the sake of us, their children whenever we're in trouble or created a problem. Mommy and daddy will always prioritize us no matter what. They will shorten their vacation if they knew Alan and Carl are in trouble. The only reason they didn't because i didn't tell them. And because they trusted us, to take care of Alan and Carl on their behalf. But that's all bullshit. I have a workaholic brother who doesn't know the way home and another lazy ass brother who's only minding his own business. That's some great life you guys have. Then i too won't a give a damn about you nor them. Don't bother looking for me because i have my life to live." Every words that she shouted in her moment of frustration, making Aiden and Ryan finally open their eyes. But Layla has already left the office and went somewhere that she alone knows.

Inside the office, there's only Aiden and Ryan who finally feeling guilty after hearing what Layla shouted moment ago. They thought they could handle the responsibility of taking care of Alan and Carl. For them it's ridiculous since Alan and Carl are entering college. So, why do they still need to be taken care of. But now they realize that the twin are good in creating troubles or invite troubles. But still they think it's only a small matter since Layla could handle everything. What they didn't realize is that, their parent wanted all three of them to look after one another. Depend on each other. What the have been doing for the past few days is dumping all the responsibilities to Layla. Their lame excuse saying they're busy is making them look like a fool. Layla has her own job also but they easily made Layla handle everything and she just accept it. Thinking what a jerk they have been, they could guess Layla how upset they made her to shout at them and make a wreck. Aiden let a heavy sigh. His aura starts giving cold pressure. First thing first. He need to teach the twin a good lesson.

"Let's go." Aiden pick up his suits and strode out of the office follow by Ryan who's looking grim.
