Transmigrated Into The Book

After his deep slumber, he woke up in the same place the first time he opened his eyes after transmigrating into this world. Beeping machines and a white background, pungent smell and disinfectant. 

His eyes met the high plain white ceiling. He narrowed his line of sight and turned to his left, he saw a small tube connecting to his arms. He felt a little sting when he tried to move his hands. 

Yuxian was blinded when the thin curtain was blown by the wind, letting the rays of the noon sun hit his face. The bed he was laying down was beside the window. 

"Ngh…" Yuxian groaned when he tried to twist his body to the other side of the bed. He was literally going to sit up, but the pressure from his back wasn't enough to support him so he needed his other hand.

When he was fully set up, he once again scanned his surroundings. He was in a private hospital room. There are two machines connected to his right arms, which is making him numb and sleepy. "What is happening to me?" he asked in his thoughts

Yuxian brushed the little hair that was blocking his line of sight then memories from yesterday bang his thoughts. He recalled everything. After finding Ling Ling and hugging her, he fainted. Maybe from the group of emotions he held. 

The door slowly opened, and a doctor came in. She was the woman he saw the first time he was transmigrated here. Is she a family doctor? Did she know everything about the real Yuxian?

"How are you feeling, Yuxian?" the woman asked the moment she reached the side of the bed. He looked at the omega on the bed and then on the fluids, he adjusted it and checked the labels. "You still had fluids," she murmured. The woman opened the folder in her arms and wrote something. "Are you still feeling dizzy?" she asked.

Yuxian, who was busy observing her, jolted and shook his head. 

The woman looked back at him with a puzzled face. "Are you sure?" she asked.

Yuxian again shakes his head quickly, "No no no! I'm fine!" he said. He suddenly felt shy after scanning her very well. She is very beautiful. Long light brown hair and eyes, fair skin and perfect nose.

'She was Zhu Jiangye, omega and 25 years old. The family nurse and Rui Jun's best friend. They were childhood friends and also they graduated college at the same time.'

Jiangye once again waved her hands in Yuxian's front. "Yuxian? Are you spacing out again?" she asked, leaning closer to the omega. 

Her presence made Yuxian jolted again for the second time, "I'm okay!" he exclaimed, backing away his head to increase the spaces between their faces. "Too close!" he exclaimed again.

Jiangye stood straight and pulled her white coat towards her chest, she giggled. "Are you having a thought with me?" she asked. Yuxian turned red, "Thought what?!" 

Jiangye chuckled again, it's been so long since she had a conversation with Yuxian. She was always busy at the hospital and all of her duties were night shifts. She brushed the male's hair, "It's been so long since you talk to me like this," she said with a smile. 

Yuxian fell silent, he was startled by Jiangye's action. He didn't know if the real Yuxian was close to her or not. He did not know what to do or say. "What are you saying?" he blurted out. 

Jiangye turned her gaze back to the fluid beside the bed. She wrote something on the folder she was carrying. "I said I miss talking to you like this, it's been so long since we had a bonding," she said with a smile on her face.

Yuxian was still in a daze but he managed to talk back. "Are we that close?" he blurted out but was taken aback after realizing what he just said. He waved his hands in the air, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it in a bad way!" he blurted out, redness leaked all over his face. 

Jiangye was also surprised by the question but instead of laughing, she sat down beside the bed. "Yuxian, are you really okay? Of course we are close, I am your family doctor after all" she said. 

Yuxian scanned the lady once more, he wanted to believe her but there was something in her aura that intimidates him. He smiled, "I see...How are you?" Although awkward, he asked.

The lady shrugged her shoulders, "You kno, Work is everywhere and I couldn't even get a wink of sleep!" she exclaimed. "Being a doctor is really troublesome!" her brows furrowed like she was showing how disappointed she was. 

"Where are they?" Yuxian asked, but just right when Jiangye was about to open her mouth, the door wide opened again. Rui Jun dashed towards the bed, "Honey!" he exclaimed as he embraced Yuxian. 

Yuxian was a little bit surprised but when he felt the comfort from his husband, his heart started to calm down. He enveloped his arms around the alpha and caressed his back. "How's Ling Ling?" he asked.

Rui Jun parted away from him and held his hands. "Look at you, you are in the hospital and yet you are worrying about our daughter" he said, sullen eyes.

Yuxian tilted his head, "I'm okay though, Why are you so worried about me?" he asked. 

Rui Jun turned silent, he pressed the omega's hand and lowered his head. Yuxian felt something was wrong, so he turned his eyes to Jiangye and Rui Jun. "What is happening?" he asked. "Is Ling Ling okay?"

Rui Jun quickly lifted his head and caressed Yuxian's cheeks, "Of course honey!" he said. "Ling Ling was in our house,sleeping," he said.

Yuxian leaned his cheeks on Rui Jun's palm. "Then what's wrong? I thought I just fainted....Why are you two showing me those kinds of expressions?" he asked.
