Transmigrated Into The Book

"Uwargh!!" Yuxian grabbed the side of the sink to support himself. He was throwing up again. 

He opened the faucet and let the substance flow down with the water. The omega wiped the sides of his lips. "Argh! I hate this feeling!" He cursed out.

Yuxian faced the mirror and watched his crumpled expression, exhausted from his morning sickness.

He left Ling Ling to Jiangye for a while and dashed inside the bathroom. He thought that after 2 months, he would never feel this, but he was wrong. It came again.

When the male turned around, he heard a knock from the door. "Yuxian? Are you okay? You need help?" Jiangye asked.

Yuxian trudged towards the door and opened it. He glanced at the lady with his exhausted face. "I'm fine," he mumbled.

Jiangye watched the omega walk towards the corridors, going back to the living room to Ling Ling. She followed him carefully, ready to give support in case Yuxian fainted.

When they both reached the living room where the little girl was watching television, the omega quickly took the space beside her. "What are you watching?" He asked, trying to draw a smile.

Ling Ling didn't glance or look at him. You can see that she was very interested in what she was watching. "It's my favorite," she replied shortly.

Jiangye took out her things from the bag she was carrying. "Yuxian, I still need to check you," she said with a blank face.

"You don't need to do that, it's just my morning sickness" 

The answer she got did not convince the lady. "Rui Jun asked me to take care of you while he was away so don't be stubborn." She clicked her tongue and made her way in front of the omega.

She lifted Yuxian's arms to get his blood pressure, then she examined his body temperature. "This will be quick." She left the thermometer between the omega's lips.

Jiangye opened her folder and evaluated the results she got. She wrote something before pulling the thermometer back. "Are you feeling hot?" She asked, after finding out his temperature.

Yuxian felt his heavy breaths. "I'm fine," he replied. He was trying to hide what he truly felt, but the lady still caught him.

Jiangye leaned closer to his ears. "Take medicines, before your fever gets worse," she whispered.

It startled Yuxian, so he grabbed the woman's arm and pinched it lightly. "Please don't tell him" he was referring to the alpha. Jiangye glared at him. "If you don't want me to tell him, take all the medicines I will give you and also rest," she whispered back.

Yuxian quickly nodded his head in agreement. Jiangye released a long sigh before putting her things back. She understood Yuxian but couldn't help but also worry for him. 

As a bonded omega, it was very important for Yuxian to be by his alpha in times like this. If Jiangye only had spare time, she would stay here to check on him, but she also had so many things to do back at the Hospital.

"I'm going now, the Hospital needs me," Jiangye said, hanging her bag on her shoulder. 

Ling Ling faced her and smiled. "Goodbye, Aunt Jiangye!" she said, waving her little hands. 

The woman left by herself; she doesn't want to bother and stress Yuxian. As Jiangye exited the main door, she saw a familiar figure sweeping beside the gate.

"Hey! You!!" she called out, referring to the male who glanced at her. 

Jiang Chen leaned the broom on the tree beside him. "Are you calling me?" He pointed to himself and asked.

The woman nodded. "Yes, you," she replied. "Are you also staying here?" She asked.

Jiang Chen felt shy. It was his first time meeting the lady, and the intimidating pheromones in her were really something. It was like a powerful barrier from fools. He gulped, "I'm s-staying here-for the meantime" he replied. They have their own rooms too.

It satisfied Jiangye from what she heard. "Good to hear that!" She exclaimed, tapping the man's shoulder. "Can you please watch over Yuxian for me? You know... he was stubborn," she said in a blunt but calm tone.

The grip he was feeling made him jolted, "Y-Yes!" Jiang Chen immediately answered. "W-Who is Y-Yuxian?" He gulped and asked.

"Ehh??" Jiangye looked at him with a puzzled face. "You didn't know him? He was your employer" 

The male bowed his head in surprise. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" He apologized. Jiang Chen wanted to know the omega's name from the very start, but he was too shy to ask.

The lady in front of him waved her fingers in the air. "It's okay! It's okay! No need to feel sorry," she said. "I just want someone to watch him while I am in the Hospital." Jiangye took out a small thing from her bag.

"This is my personal card." She lifted Jiang Chen's hand and put it on his palm. "Please call me when something happens," she ordered.

The man took and stared at it for a minute before bowing his head. "Don't worry Doctor, I will call you right away!" He said obediently, using the title he read in front of her name.

Jiangye tapped his shoulders. "You don't need to use formalities. Just call me Jiangye," she said with a smile.

It startled him. He couldn't help but blush. Jiang Chen was left there speechless until the lady rode her car, parked at the front gate. 

Jiang Chen once again read the card he was holding. He remained silent there before picking up the broom. 

He didn't know why he felt happy after talking to Jiangye. Jiang Chen is a dominant alpha but too shy to approach omegas. 

Something from the lady boosted his confidence. A beautiful lady approached him just to ask for a favor. Who wouldn't get flustered? It made him smile as he continued sweeping the front yard.

"I want to talk to her again," He said in his thoughts.
