Transmigrated Into The Book

Yuxian opened his eyes. He roamed around and saw a field full of blooming flowers. The fragrance from it was swaying together in the air. "Hello?" The omega called out in his gentle voice. 

No one was around except him. He could feel the tickling grasses under his feet. The place was very unfamiliar. Yuxian tried to lift his hands but felt that there was something in it. He lowered his head and saw a small, round face with chubby cheeks.

He was carrying a baby!

Yuxian gasped, but there was no voice coming from his throat. He flinched when the baby giggled at him, showing an adorable expression.

"Where am I?" He asked himself inside his thoughts. 

There are only flowers and grasses there, tall green trees inches away from them. Yuxian raised his head and met the warm sunlight, almost blinding him.

The male once again blinked his eyes and lowered his head. This time, the baby was smiling back at him. "Are you my child?" He asked, but was stunned when there was still no voice from him.

The male tightened his grip on the baby. Then he observed how a sweet and small smile stretches its lips. 

The baby had wavy ash brown hair and deep blue ocean eyes. Long and thick lashes and fair skin. "Is he a boy?" Yuxian mumbled in his thoughts, describing how handsome it is.

He found comfort from the adorable human being, so he poked its nose and smiled back. The male froze when the baby grabbed his index finger and chuckled. "M-Mama…" a soft and small voice tickled Yuxian's system.

When he was about to hug it, a gust of wind suddenly blew. The omega squinted his eyes and used his two arms to block his face.

After the wind passed by, Yuxian stood straight, feeling his body turned light. "The baby?!!!" He yelled. His voice was back, but the baby wasn't in his arms anymore. 

The male on the bed widened his eyes from his deep sleep and reached his hands in the air. He was panting, and he could feel his throat dried up.

"Yuxian!" a familiar voice called him out.

Jiangye tapped his forehead and parted his mouth, putting a thermometer between his lips.

The omega stayed still, dumbfounded from what he was witnessing. He was in the Hospital; he remembered his fever. Yuxian observed the lady while checking him. A warm palm again cupped his cheeks. "Yuxian? Are you feeling anything?" Jiangye asked him with a worried tone after pulling the thing from his mouth.

Yuxian shook his head. He tried to make a word. "I'm fine"

His eyes widened when he finally snapped himself back. He clenched the blanket beside him and leaned his elbow down, supporting himself up.

Yuxian winced after releasing a gasp. 

"What are you doing?!" The lady who was still checking the labels in his IV fluids scolded him. Jiangye helped him lean on the bedhead. "Take a rest and relax," she ordered.

Yuxian felt a sting from his chest. He squinted his eyes. "I'm fine, sorry," he replied. He must have been sleeping for a long time, which caused his voice to turn hoarse. 

{What time is it? How long have I slept?}

{Ehh?!! Really?!!}

AUTHOR: Yes

Yuxian pulled on the hem of Jiangye's sleeves. "B-Baby!" He blurted out. 

The lady paused and looked at him. "Don't worry, your baby is okay." She brushed the omega's hair. 

Yuxian wanted to know that, but it wasn't the one he was talking about. "I have a dream! A baby!" This time, he grasped the woman's shoulder. "Ash brown hair and deep blue eyes," he explained. 

"Yuxian!!"

The door widely opened, a man trudged beside his bed with heavy footsteps. The omega slowly twists his head towards the unfamiliar figure. 

"Rui Jun?!!" He exclaimed. Yuxian rubbed his eyes, believing that he was just seeing an illusion and still dizzy, but instead of fading away, a hug greeted him.

The alpha enveloped him fully and kissed his forehead. "Honey, I'm here!" He exclaimed. It left the omega stunned for a second. He thought that Rui Jun was abroad on a business trip. He never thought that he would come home just to see him. "Am I still dreaming?" he asked himself. 

"What are you doing here?" Yuxian asked as they parted away. He glanced at Rui Jun with his pleading and tired eyes. "Did you come to see me?" he asked. 

Rui Jun caressed the male's cheeks. "Of course, I'm so worried about you," he replied, lifting his wife's hand and making a peck on his wrist. 

Silence fell between them. 

A small sob escaped Yuxian's lips. He lowered his head and wiped his eyes. It startled Rui Jun and Jiangye. Yuxian didn't want to cry, but there was something inside his chest that jolted the moment he saw his husband. He was dealing with these emotions every night, alone. "I'm s-sorry," his voice cracked. "I-I w-was just…." the alpha hugged him again.

Rui Jun caged him in his arms and brushed his back. "Honey, please forgive me," he said. "Are you lonely without me? I'm very sorry, I'm here now, so please don't cry," he comforted his wife. 

Yuxian felt the warmth not just from the alpha's words, but also from his actions. The wintry nights he was enduring and the lonely company were now back to a warm and bright side. 

'DING! LOVE METER: 70%'

He wrapped his arms around the man and leaned his head on Rui Jun's chest. "I miss you so much," he whispered. 

"Ngh!!" A groan escaped Yuxian's mouth when he felt another sting from his heart. He grasped the male's shirt. "I-I c-can't b-b-breath…" he stuttered. Sweat formed from his forehead and his visions are turning around. The white background in front of him is now turning black, buzzing sounds echoing in his ears. 

"Yuxian!?"

"Hey! Honey!?"

Yuxian felt his head touched another body before losing his consciousness.
