Transmigrated Into The Book

"I'm sorry, but we needed to do the operation!" The nurse who was holding Yuxian's oxygen inside the ambulance quickly told the alpha.

Rui Jun sat in front of the omega's stretchers while Ling Ling was beside him. He gripped his wife's hands. "H-Honey, please h-hold on," he muttered. 

Yuxian's eyes turned around, his ears were starting to hear the buzzing sound around him, the loud siren of the ambulance they're in was slowly getting slower, like it was vanishing inside his ears. He could see his husband's face. Rui Jun was trembling and couldn't think straight. Ling Ling is still speechless, she was crying. 

The omega gathered all his left strength to press back Rui Jun's palm that was holding him. The alpha glanced at him. "Honey, Can you hear me?" His husband had this pitiful expression. 

"L-Ling L-Ling…" A word from Yuxian's lips made the child turn to him. "L-L-Ling L-Ling…" He tried to smile, a bitter one. The little girl widened her eyes in shock, then it slowly became blurry when the tears occupied her cheeks. "Mimi!! I'm very s-s-sorry!!" she exclaimed. She grabbed the omega and embraced him. 

Since Yuxian couldn't move his head, he pressed his lips beside the little girl's ears. "D-Don't b-b-blame y-yourself," he whispered. "M-Mimi is h-happy"

Ling Ling then twisted her head back to Rui Jun, who was still squeezing the omega's hand. "Sweetheart, Mimi is strong," he said. 

Yuxian wasn't literally going to die right now. The impact of the car that bumped him was so forceful that it hit his stomach. It bled out, and he slowly got weak and almost lost his consciousness. He was gasping for air from the oxygen. 

They needed to save the child inside him before he lost everything. He was losing so much blood and anytime now he would faint. 

Yuxian raised his hands and cupped Rui Jun's cheeks. "C-Come c-closer," he muttered under his heavy breaths.

The alpha started to cry; he leaned closer to his omega's lips. He was waiting. Yuxian had something to say. Even if he didn't know, Rui Jun felt what it was.

A tear fell from Yuxian's eyes. He gasped for air once more. The oxygen covering his lips was making his voice hoarse. He doesn't have a choice right now. The mission is more important. 

He tried to clear his throat, "If -they w-will going t-to ask y-you.." he paused, biting his lower lip, resisting the heavy feeling inside him. "P-Please l-let t-the baby l-live" his hands fell down, losing all his strength. 

They reached the Hospital and they hurriedly change Yuxian's stretchers. They pushed him inside the emergency room. 

Jiangye, who was still shocked by what happened, tried to catch herself up and be strong. She didn't want to think about the negative side of what was going to happen. 

She pulled on her white coat and wrapped it around her shoulders. The operation she will handle was not an ordinary one. Yuxian's life is the top priority.

"Jiangye!"

She turned around and saw Rui Jun, almost trembling in fear and panic. The alpha grabbed her wrist. "Please! Save my wife and the baby!" Rui Jun slid down on his knees. "I'm begging you!" He pleaded.

Yuxian blinks his eyes. It startled him. He was inside his dreams again.

The grassy and flowery field welcomed him once more. This time, he was sitting under the tree. The tree had a lot of strawberries as its fruit. "Strawberry? Tree?" He asked himself.

Yuxian looked around and saw the endless horizon from where he was. "Am I dreaming again?" He asked himself. He remembered what happened, so he sprang up. "Ling Ling!" He exclaimed.

The wind rustled, and some of the leaves above him fell down. There are also numbers of fruits that hit his head. He crouched and picked up a strawberry. "Strawberry in a tree?" He asked himself again.

Yuxian wiped the red and sweet fruit using his palm, then he delivered it inside his mouth. He chewed it and felt the juices dancing between his lips.

His eyes beamed. "So sweet!" He exclaimed.

Yuxian was about to pick another one when he heard a chuckle. It was small and cute; he turned his head around. 

"A baby!!" 

There was a baby beside him, leaning on the tree branch. Yuxian looked at him and scanned the creature, who just popped out from nowhere. It made him caress his stomach; it was flat, not round.

"Are you Xian Xian? My Xian Xian?" He asked.

The baby that was blinking his eyes paused. He tilted his head and looked at Yuxian, "Oh ba ba!" The baby said and chuckled.

Yuxian saw two dimples beside the baby's lips when it giggled at him. He couldn't help but melt from its cuteness.

The baby put his hands on the grass and crawled towards Yuxian. It ended up sitting in his lap. The baby took one strawberry then he gave it to Yuxian. "Oh ba ba!" He said again.

Although dumbfounded, Yuxian held the baby's hand and took the fruit from him. "You like strawberries?" He asked, getting a giggle from the baby.

Yuxian carelessly delivered the fruit inside his mouth and chewed it. When it reached his throat, his lungs suddenly became stiff. 

He clenched his chest; he gasped like he was losing air. Yuxian found himself coughing, but what shocked him was the blood from his mouth.

He tried to cover his lips, but the blood wouldn't stop. He coughed several times, becoming dizzy. 

The baby who fell on the soft grassland cried. His deep blue eyes are now full of sadness. 

Yuxian tilted his head and glanced at the baby, who was inches away from him. He tried to crawl towards him, but it seemed like he wasn't moving from his stance. 

It was like there was poison from the strawberry the baby gave him. It's making him feel dizzy and his chest was hurting. Yuxian felt the pain once again. It lingered down to his spine.

"Ba ba!!" The baby spread his little hands in the air, like he was trying to reach Yuxian. 

It was too late; the omega didn't reach him.
