Transmigrated Into The Book

"Is there anything I can do to get my memories back?," 

Two figures entered the door. Sun Wei and Qi Zhou, it interrupted their conversation. Xianyu turned his gaze to the two, then asked them if they wanted some tea. Jun Rouhan didn't totally come here for the two. He literally went here because he wanted to talk to Xianyu, but since they were here, he better ask them first.

"What happened to that girl?" Rouhan asked as he's the one who poured Sun Wei's cup. He pushed it to the man and made a half smile. 

Sun Wei bowed his head to say thanks then he took a sip, "Xianyu got the chance to cure her," Qi Zhou sat beside him, "We let her stay with her family back," he second the motion.

Rouhan paused for a minute. "How about her family?" It happened during the darkness under the moon, but they couldn't guarantee that no one noticed or saw them. Even though people are afraid of them, they are still not sure if no one else knows about it.

Sun Wei stopped the cup halfway from his lips, "They promised they will tell no one," he gulped his tea and grinned, "Well, it's still their loss if they told anyone,"

"Master Rouhan," Qi Zhou gazed into the man's eyes. "Do you have any idea why this happened again? I thought it was over?" he asked with his questioning eyes. 

Rouhan clicked his tongue. You can see in his expression that he was a bit annoyed. "That is what I want to know," he said.

He tried to calm himself, because he didn't want the two to make a suspicion of him. He and Chen Yang, who is Xianyu now, came together in this world. So he thought that maybe it will happen again because Xianyu woke up again after sleeping for so 5 years. 

The body he was using was the body of Jun Rouhan. Even him, couldn't believe why he was also transmigrated inside the book with Chen Yang. He couldn't get a grasp of what's happening in the story anymore. Xianyu had no memories of him but can remember his voice, because he was the system author. So what happened? 

"What will happen to her family?" Xianyu asked. 

Qi Zhou gazed at him. "Don't worry, she's the only one who got the Y mark." he turned to Sun Wei and nodded. "They're still safe," 

"But don't get too confident, we are still lacking information here.." Sun Wei crossed his arms. "We still don't know where she got it, it was so sudden." His brows twitched with his lips. 

Jun Rouhan stood up. He tucked his arms inside his wide sleeves. "We need to dig and investigate this matter more," he suggested. He walked towards the window and raised his head. As the sun hit his face, he blinked his eyes. "This is an important matter, so please take a look at it again." he mumbled.

"What am I going to do now?"

Xianyu dropped himself on the thick straw mat on his bed. He was alone because Qi Zhou and Sun Wei went back to Xuyong Pier, the lady's place. Just like what Rouhan told them, they investigate more. He wants to go with them, but the two instead ask him to meditate on his Qi energy more. 

This time, while thinking alone, Xianyu remembered the sparkling fireflies that night. He wanted to admit that that fireflies helped him to find the lady's location. Is it connected to her?

The sun was already down, and the two men were still not home. Xianyu decided to close the windows because the air was getting chilly. When he was now in front of the open window, a shadow not far away from him made him stop.

Xianyu squinted his eyes and tried to see what was that, "Is that Sun Wei and Qi Zhou?" he mumbled to himself. He curved his palm on his forehead and bent more to see, but he couldn't recognize it. 

The shadow was standing meters away from the house and the fog of the forest was making it more blurry. Xianyu opened the door and headed outside. The chilly wind blew and caressed his arms. He hugged his own body and whispered. "So cold,"

Xianyu paused for a while, then he slowly took a step towards the shadow. It didn't move; it stayed like that while he was approaching it. "Who are you?!" He made his voice louder. He waved his hands "Hello? Do you need something?!" he asked again.

He stopped halfway and observed the shadow. It was tall, and its robe was swaying in the air. He can tell that it was taller than him, and it was a man. Xianyu frowned. "They didn't inform me that we are having a visitor tonight," he mumbled. 

Xianyu tried to at least peek his face, but the fog of the night was getting more thick as he stepped forward. "E-Excuse me?" He tried to talk to him. The figure didn't move, but he heard a chuckle, light and calm. 

Since the man behind that darkness and fog can chuckle, Xianyu felt annoyed, like he just got insulted. He straightened his back and crossed his arms. "Excuse me? Did you just chuckle?" he asked in an ironic tone. At least he was sure this time that this man was a human being like him. But the insulting part was that Xianyu thought that he was something that was not a being.

"He should just have walked straight to the door or talked to me," Xianyu snorted to himself. "What the heck is wrong with him?!" 

The wind blew harder and blew the leaves from the trees. Xianyu blocked his face to protect his eyes. When he opened his eyes, small lights hovered around him. Again, the fireflies once again glittered in front of his eyes. 

"Is this you?" Xianyu called out. He took a step forward. He reached his arms in the air, approaching the man. "Hey!" He dashed to the man, but when he was about to touch him, he disappeared.
