Chapter 275 - World 10.13

"Would you like to come with me?"

That warm and tight grasp didn't let go of Xianyu. He didn't even manage to give his answer because the moment he blinked his eyes, the iron door was already open. He widened his eyes in surprise. "How did you open that so easily?" he whispered.

Yuan pressed his finger on Xianyu's lips and winked. "It's a secret," he uttered.

The two headed out carefully, not even making a sound from their feet. Yuan seemed to know where they were heading, while Xianyu was just following him obediently. At first, he thought that this guy was just guessing the directions, but after escaping from the guards, it seems like he was familiar here.

When they reached the end of the long and dim dungeon, before taking the turns, Yuan pushed Xianyu onto the corner and crouched in front of him. Since startled, Xianyu couldn't even utter a word. The sudden steps were heard like there was someone passing through them. Yuan covered Xianyu's lips and compressed himself more with him in the corner. "Ssshh," he said.

The silence covered them for almost a minute until the guards disappeared. Yuan stood first and peered at the wall. When he already found no one there, he pulled the other male up. "They're already gone, let's go," he said, dragging Xianyu onto his pace.

"Why did you know this place so well?" Xianyu couldn't hold himself anymore. He literally asked for it. The male, who was walking in front of him, stopped, which caused him to bump on his back. "Ow!" He exclaimed.

Yuan looked at him, then he grinned. "Who knows?" That's the only answer Xianyu got before they started walking again.

"He's so mysterious," Xianyu thought to himself. "It seems like he knew everything about this place from the very start. Is he a bandit? Or a terrorist?" he was busy asking himself when they already reached the big gate. It was big and made of iron. The end of the dungeon.

Both of them paused and looked at the thick and big iron gate in front of them. "How are we going to pass this one?" Xianyu shrugged after seeing zero hope. "Should I use my Qi in front of him? Is it okay? But I'm still getting to know him.." He scratched the back of his head "Where are those two, by the way?" He asked himself again inside his thoughts upon remembering Sun Wei and Qi Zhou.

"It's open!"

Xianyu's eyes grew bigger with his jaw almost falling to the ground. "Ehhhh??!!!!!" He rubbed his two eyes, then opened it wide again. "How the heck did you open it?!!" he exclaimed, changing his line of sight from the gate to Yuan then to the gate again.

A light chuckle reply to him, then Yuan showed him a key. "This is the answer." he twirled the key around his fingers before putting it back in his pocket. "Let's go!"

Xianyu, who was still dumbfounded, followed him. When they reached the side of the market, Yuan took something from one of the merchants there, then went back to Xianyu. He pulled the male somewhere like an alley.

"Put this on," He put a straw hat on Xianyu's head, then tied its strings below his chin. "Hide your face for now, they might recognize us." Yuan said, as he also put another straw hat on him.

Before the guy could talk back again, Xianyu grabbed his sleeves. "Are you also hiding from anyone?" he asked.

The sudden pull from his sleeves stunned Yuan. He saw Xianyu's hands shaking. From nervousness maybe. He raised the male's hand and pressed it. "Why are you shaking so much? Are you scared that I might be a loose criminal?" he asked. He opened Xianyu's hand, then let his fingers traced the lines on his palm.

Xianyu flinched after feeling something from the male's touch. He yanked away. "It's n-not what y-you think it is!" he exclaimed, averting his gaze after realizing that he just instantly blushed.

He was very careless while with him a while ago, but now that they were outside, he could clearly see this guy's appearance. Yuan was taller than him. He had skin white as snow, pale and smooth. His eyes were fox-like and bright like the stars. His long black hair was in a high ponytail but was messy and covering half of his eyes, the red one was under his bangs.

He looked like a teenage cunning boy with his devilish smile written on his face. His voice was deep and calm, pleasant to hear, according to him. Xianyu couldn't deny that this guy is handsome, like a royalty Prince.

Yuan looked at him with a puzzled expression. He giggled. "You are so cute just now," he mumbled. He tucked his robe and tighten its buttons, "Don't worry, I am not a criminal or something…" He grinned "I even told you my real name, so don't think of me that way," He leaned closer to Xianyu's red face, "I just run away from home and spend some free time outside the Village," he said before pulling the male's hand once more.

After minutes of walking, they saw a wagon with a group of hays at the back. Yuan asked the old man to give them a ride. At first, he was hesitant, but after Yuan offered him a bag of gold, the old man immediately let them hop.

"You must be very rich," Xianyu leaned on the hays as the old man started the ride. He closed his eyes for a while, not knowing that Yuan was watching him.

"I don't need money," Yuan replied to him, turning his gaze in the direction they just passed by.

"Then you must be super rich," Xianyu stick with his sentence, still with his eyes closed. He saw how the guy would waste a bag of gold just to take this ride where the truth is they can rent an expensive carriage.

Well, he had no choice, since Sun Wei and Qi Zhou weren't with him right now and he had no power of drawing a teleportation array. He rested his head once again on the soft hays and closed his eyes, letting the time pass.
