Chapter 397 - S2 World 11.53

"What the heck is this?" Yang scowled the moment he reached the desk of his office. He automatically glared at Guang Jin, who's already smirking at him from his swivel chair. He put his bag down and pushed the sandwich and juice aside. The male turned on his computer and started an early job.

After agreeing to the CEO to stay by his side, Guang Jin started to give him breakfast every morning. Sometimes, he would pester Yang to let him drive him home. These events got into Yang's nerves that he couldn't take it anymore. The cold CEO is getting all clingy and flirty with him.

The phone beside his desk rang. He answered it with his intimidating voice. "What?"

Guang Jin chuckled from the other line, "Secretary Chen, you need to eat first before working, unless you want to get sick," he said, looking at the male through the thin glass wall separating their office.

"Mr. Li, I already ate breakfast at home...thank you for the concern, but I'm quite busy right now, so contact me only if you need important documents," Yang replied coldly before hanging up the call.

Even if he got ignored, Guang Jin's lips curved into a small smile before returning the phone to its holder. He glanced and then to his laptop again. "He's cute," he mumbled.

AT LUNCH TIME.

Yang made a small yawn and stretched his arms. He leaned his head on the chair head and closed his eyes for a while. They received a mass of new novels today that he needed to double check every book. It almost made him dizzy just by looking at the bright monitor. He was about to massage his temples when he felt another finger rubbing his forehead. Yang opened his eyes and saw a smiling, handsome face.

"EEEKKKK!!!!"

He jolted and pushed the chair away, which made Guang Jin startled. Yang gasped and clenched his chest. "The heck!" he blurted out.

Guang Jin chuckled. "Why are you so surprised? Do I look like a virus to you?" He walked over and leaned his hand on the desk. Taking a glimpse at his secretary's desk. "Your desk is organized as always," he commented. His eyes squinted on the monitor for a while. "But you got this one wrong,"

Hearing this from the CEO, Yang dashed towards his table and leaned beside Guang Jin while looking attentively at the computer. "I'm sorry, I didn't see it," he moved the mouse. "I'm going to review it again, geez!" he mumbled to himself.

Guang Jin didn't move from his position. He remained beside Yang, with their shoulders touching. He will glance at the male's side profile and then smirk.

"Stop staring at me, Mr. Li," Yang pushed the swivel chair that made the CEO backed away. He sat down again and focused on what he was doing. This is a perfect excuse to ignore the CEO.

The other man crossed his arms and stayed behind Yang. Observing every move like a real CEO. He's smiling earlier, because of the organized files displayed on Yang's desktop, but after observing him for a couple of minutes, Guang Jin shrugged and reached for the mouse. "What are you doing? Do you want to kill yourself?" He moved the mouse to the left and made another folder. "If you want to make it faster, you need to sort it out first…"

Yang couldn't deny that he was amazed by the CEO's skills. His eyes lightened up. "Oh! I didn't realize that." he leaned closer to the computer to learn, but he got pushed away. "Don't lean too much. Protect your eyes," Guang Jin said before parting away from the male.

EHEM..

Both males jolted from the place they're into. Their faces turned pale when they saw Ren Jiang walked inside the office. He narrowed his eyes and looked at them suspiciously. "Did I disturb something?" he asked.

"Manager!!" Yang stood up and bowed his head.

Guang Jin frowned. "What are you doing here? I didn't give you permission to come inside my office freely like what you want." he narrowed his eyes and glared at the man meters away from them.

A light chuckle escaped Ren Jiang's lips. "Why are you so possessive?" he walked closer to the two and looked Yang in the eyes. "I didn't come here for you, I came here to ask Yang out for lunch,"

'Another escape plan!'

Yang jumped and was about to walk towards Ren Jiang when Guang Jin grabbed him behind his collar. "Excuse me?" the CEO cussed. He glared at his best friend. "I already asked him to have lunch with me," he snorted.

Yang widened his eyes to Ren Jiang like he's sending a telepathy message 'HELP ME'. The other man quickly got it, so he grinned. "Is that true, Mr. Chen?" Ren Jiang shot cunning eyes at the CEO. "From the looks of it, it seems like Yang is against it," he added.

The veins almost popped out from the CEO's forehead. He sneered. "I don't care! I will take him with me," then he totally pulled Yang and dragged him away, passing by Ren Jiang.

"H-Hey! W-Wait!" Yang wanted to protest, but he couldn't even pull his arms away from Guang Jin, who's now pouting his lips all the way to the corridors.

They entered the elevator, and before the door closed, a hand stopped it. The door opened again, and they met Ren Jiang's face. He entered freely and stood between the two. He glanced at Yang and winked at him.

Guang Jin inclined his body closer to Ren Jiang and whispered. "What the heck are you doing here?" He said it in a bitter tone.

Ren Jiang smirked and crossed his arms. "All of my subordinates are already out for lunch. I don't want to be alone, so I'm going to eat lunch with the both of you," he said with a cunning grin.

It made the CEO's blood boil so hot that his ears almost turned red. "REN JIANG!!!!!!!!!"
