Ways to handle this little demon

Cleaning up the new place of Yang Zhiqiang took the entire afternoon even with the help of Wang Li Jie and his buddies. Today, the three buddies didn't even have the time to go down the mountain and do some volunteer work in villages. When Wang Li Jie came back to his chamber by the evening, his whole body was completely reeking of both dust and sweat.

As soon as the youth arrived at his chamber, Wang Li Jie immediately filled his bathtub and started bathing. Since it was still a bit early, his little master hadn't come back yet. Wang Li Jie was not sure if Zhang Long Wei would be mad with him when he came back. This morning, he suggested Zhang Long Wei to have lunch together. But he didn't make it since he was busy cleaning up the place of Yang Zhiqiang with his buddies. 

After having a bath, Wang Li Jie should be feeling all refreshed. Instead, it only made him even more sleepy. Since his body got weaker, Wang Li Jie tended to be all worn out even if he had done nothing tiring. Compared to his daily routine of intense trainings, what he did today was really nothing. Even so, he found himself being all sleepy and still exhausted even after a soothing bath. 

Changing into his pearl white inner robes, Wang Li Jie threw himself onto the bed. Faced with the comfy of warm and soft mattress, it didn't take long for the youth to nod off immediately. 

Wang Li Jie didn't know when or how long he fell asleep. The only thing he knew was that, when he opened his eyes again after the nap, Zhang Long Wei was already there, lying right next to him on the same bed. Wang Li Jie didn't know if it was just himself subconsciously shifting closer to Zhang Long Wei, or if it was just his little master who deliberately let him sleep with his head pillowed in his arm. When Wang Li Jie rubbed open his eyes, his head was on Zhang Long Wei's arm just like their usual position. 

With his other free hand, Zhang Long Wei held a little book whilst attentively reading it. Sensing a gaze coming from someone in his arm, Zhang Long Wei twisted his head and took a quick glance only to meet eyes with Wang Li Jie who had been silently looking at him for a couple of minutes. 

Even after their eyes met, Wang Li Jie kept staring at Zhang Long Wei with his not-fully-awake eyes. Seeing this, Zhang Long Wei's lips curved into a gentle smile before asking in his mellow tone. 

"Are you hungry? "

Wang Li Jie slowly nodded his head. If it were not for his rumbling stomach, he shouldn't have awoken like this just after such a short nap. Since he fell asleep right away after the bath, Wang Li Jie forgot to have his dinner. But, how come his little master instantly figured it out? 

Maybe it's because he'd just woken up. Wang Li Jie didn't speak much and sat up with his disheveled hair. Wang Li Jie was being over the fence whether to continue sleeping or just to coax his rumbling stomach first when he got a tantalizing aroma from out of nowhere. Wang Li Jie was wondering where this mouthwatering aroma was coming from when Zhang Long Wei's voice suddenly rang out from behind. 

"It's such a good thing that you woke up early. The dishes are still warm. "

Wang Li Jie didn't even know since when Zhang Long Wei got off the bed. When he turned around to look, his little master was walking over to his bed with a tray of various dishes in his hands. In the tray were a bowl of steaming soup and a little portion of meat served with some vegetables. 

"Stay still. I will feed you."

Sitting down right next to the youth, Zhang Long Wei uttered those words. It was such a miracle how Wang Li Jie and Zhang Long Wei got this close to each other just after spending a few nights together.

These days, Wang Li Jie had been both intentionally and unintentionally spoiled by his little master that he tended to act even more naughty everytime he was in Zhang Long Wei's presence. In fact, Wang Li Jie should be apologizing to his little master for failing to have lunch together with him this afternoon as he had suggested. 

But, faced with an indulgent Zhang Long Wei, Wang Li Jie didn't even feel the need to do it anymore. Obediently having his dinner with Zhang Long Wei feeding him carefully, Wang Li Jie shifted closer to his little master. He was going to sleep again in next time no time, so no need to eat so much. As long as his rumbling stomach was satisfied, he was going back to sleep. 

Shaking his head at a small chunk of meat Zhang Long Wei was trying to feed him, Wang Li Jie rested his head on his little master's shoulder. Zhang Long Wei only knew how to feed him dinner like a little kid. Had he already forgotten about the blue ice poison? Why wasn't he getting any closer when feeding him? 

" You wanna sleep again?

Let's stay like this and talk for a while. You are going to get indigestion if you sleep right away. "

"What do you want to talk about? "

Placing the tray of dishes on a table by the bedside, Zhang Long Wei subconsciously turned around. His lips almost landed an accidental kiss on the youth's cheeks whose head was resting on his shoulder. 

"Li Jie, you smell nice. "

"Mn..... I took a shower before I slept...

Are we going to chat just like this? "

Reaching out to grab a small handkerchief from his sleeves, Zhang Long Wei handed it to the youth. Wang Li Jie accepted it right away before wiping traces of oils off his lips. 

"No.... I have something important to tell you.

Today, five villagers from butterfly village went missing. According to acquaintances of those missing villagers, this morning, all of them seemed to go into Tian Forest to collect some firewood and hunt some preys. Their families said they always used to return before noon.

But, today, none of them came back. As to the villagers' request, we went to look for them in the forest since noon. But we didn't manage to find even a single trace of them. 

We thoroughly searched the whole forest through and through till dusk. But we just couldn't find even one of the missing villagers. "

Hearing such a serious issue, Wang Li Jie's sleepiness wore off immediately. Casually folding the handkerchief, the youth, who was distracted by this sudden information, absentmindedly handed it back to Zhang Long Wei. 

"Seniors have already informed master Wu about this. We don't know how elders are going to let us deal with this incident tomorrow. So...um....what I really wanna say is..... "

"What is it? "

Witnessing a sudden guilty expression on Zhang Long Wei's face , Wang Li Jie slowly raised his head and sat up properly before asking with a baffled expression. 

"I'm sorry..... I couldn't have lunch with you this noon because of that..... 

To tell the truth, I just didn't have any lunch today.... So, what I wanna say is... I apologize."
